I have just read all the way through this and the general opinion seems to be stuff the little things ie t-shirt, do printed manuals for those who insist and PDF's for the others, Give all entitled the planes they want and the map with beta access as alpha will be too problematical for ED. I was going to get t-shirt, dcs p51 (got it), fw190, wwII all flyables, i think 3 manuals and the strat manual. I will be happy with all flyables and pdf manuals, if nesc I will buy the fw190 for DCS.and beta access.

hi Flyco, I gave up on it and went back to a mix of Helios and plain control setting in game. I have found I can do pretty much anything this way, the switches are a breeze to set and all the Rot's & Enc's are easily set in the game settings. if I have to do it all again I will keep in mind your workround as I would prefer to have it all in one. BTW I only have 4 leo BU0836X boards but they are maxed out. thanks for the help.rep inbound.

Ok guys, I have done as flyco did and I get 2 lines in game setup, I setup the first switch and it saves changing the Diff.lua. next switch I try is seen by game but when i click ok it don't save the square remains blank and the diff.lua is not changed, if I delete first and do 2nd then it works but original won't save. it seems that it will only do 1 switch on each bu board, this is only ones i have changed buttons that are already up/down in lua work and save fine. HELP LOL.

I really don't understand why some people have to go into I WANT IT NOW mode, Yes it was promised for a month ago, But shit happens and things get delayed it is no good going on about the way to run a business lots of businesses take longer to do whatever. Some of us have been years waiting for Nevada that we are owed as part of the initial DCS sale. So please just let RRG get on with it and when it is ready for alpha release then it is ready, Also this is the main reason why RRG did not want to do an Alpha because of whingers that just want to play it first, Well we will see if they are right or not and if they actually get proper feedback and not just comments like it don't fly right or my dads uncles mum used to fly it and they say its wrong.

i3dman more info needed. it works fine on mine.

look for monitorconfig in DRIVE/Steamlibrary/steamapps/common/GAME NAME. point the registry entry to that file. I do not have dcs on steam but I do have a few steam games that use this file for mods etc.

if you like soft go for renault or citroen if you like harder seat go for vauxhall.

what i did with my AB plastic stop is shaved the corners a little at a time til I can just push up to it then push a little harder to get AB, the engine stop is only needed for A10 it works as a push forward to start/idle position and when you come back to idle you then lift over the stop to off position. the sticks stiffness in center does improve with use, in my case I took a different option to regreasing and cleaned it off completely with liquid silicone and now all I do is squirt a small amount on the ball without disassembly and it has been fine from when they first came out. I have not had any trouble with the rubber ring as some have. hope this helps in your decision I was very wary about spending a months wages on a stick but have not regretted it.

when this happened to me I just killed dcs and restarted and it all came back. that was with 128 beta and in the p51 but same sort of thing when i went to close canopy it was jerky and no throttle or stick movement. I will try it again.

OK my OS is Win8 64, I have DCS beta 128, I use the stereo monitor config only thing changed is the eye shift diff for everyone. I have the 1 & 2 monitors duplicated 1 is the rift it is on HDMI, 2 is a 32 inch on DVI , I have a 3rd on usb below the 2 duplicated. thats about it. dont forget DCS is funny about having monitors to the left of main but it dosn't seem to matter if they are duplicated.

it does need something like that skate it needs to be easy for everyone to use just sliders or the like.

My 7970 works fine with OR, I do have an issue with 3d where the cockpit is great but the runway on finals is splitting into a v shape, looks like a convergence issue to me probably needs some more tweaking.

No I think open beta uses original install for activation, you can uninstall open beta, can you not get/use another hard drive.

it could be that FC3 includes A10A, also it shouldn't use an activation if you uninstall and reinstall without changing anything in the computer.

I still say this is how it works as I read it. A flyable is an aircraft for use in DCS WWii ONLY A reward is an aircraft that can be used in DCS WORLD, my P51 key is for World only. When DCS WWii goes live non backers will buy the game WWii and get 1 plane flyable in WWii or World any purchases will be valid for both WWii & WORLD the other rewards are as seen. ie t-shirts, manuals. So if you want P51 & FW190 in both you need to pick them in both flyables and rewards this is for Alpha or Beta access depending on your pledge. Those that pledged the lowest will get the flyables as they are released during beta testing. If you pledged a larger amount with Alpha access you will get the alpha versions of the planes onward. If you pledged for DCS Planes you will be able to fly these before the game WWii is in Alpha provided they are released. As you know the P51 is out, the FW190 may be out in World before Alpha test of WWii starts. The World FW190 may only be an Alpha test so could be nowhere near finished.

I never believe anyone who says better and cheaper in the same sentence in my experience it is like military intelligence a contradiction in terms.
