  1. The 2.9 update messed this mod up. Here's a picture of the rockets going spastic, they are still chasing rockets that have already impacted.
  2. Good stuff thanks for the clarifications. Yeah, altitude was confusing (when you know enough to be dangerous) since it can be part of the NATO Call For Fire.
  3. The ability to do linear targets with artillery. I'd like to see the M981 FISTV (looks like a M901 TOW vehicle), and whatever version of that type of vehicles the other NATO and Warsaw Pact units had. The M577 Vehicle as a Fire Direction Center Vehicle, also same as above with other countries. The Bradley FISTV is now in service as is an FSV version of the Stryker Vehicle (the Stryker also has the MEHEL to engage drones). CurrentHill makes different versions of the MLRS with different rockets, are they going to be official at some point? Ammo Resupply Vehicles for artillery, the M992 for the Paladin, the HEMMET A4 for MLRS, the K10 for the Korean K9, and the M548 ammo carrier (pretty much a Rapenschlepper Ost on a 113 Chassis). K10 M548 FISTV M992 Stryker FSV BFIST

  4. So, I am a former Redleg (Fire Support was my game) that means I am easily confused. I have questions about the artillery in game. 1. When using fire at point or any other fire command is altitude the altitude of the target or the firing unit? IRL altitude was of the target and was pretty much ignored unless it was greater than 100 meters difference, I'm sure in the digital age it's accounted for to the meter at this point if not closer. 2. Rounds expended, is that referring to the number of expended by the unit or the firing piece? IRL a "Battery or Battalion "6" means every gun fires 6 rounds. So a "battery 6" would be 36 rounds. 3. Anyone have a good script for a Lift and Shift of Fires? I'm experimenting with triggers but I don't think it's working.. Thanks
  5. What a disappointment. Uninstalling Open Beta.
  6. Seems like the recent update to Beta has messed up a bunch of mods. Sad. I have no ships showing up under Combined Task Force in the editor. I have learned a valuable lesson with this update though. Before updating DCS: 1. Remove all mods in the saved game back up folder. 2. Do a repair on DCS. 3. Update DCS. 4. Then add mods back in
  7. Yep, figured it out, it's the MH and SH 60 mods for the UH60L mod. Tried the same file fixes modified to the aircraft name but it didn't work. The MR and SH would crash the game instead, so I removed them and now have my CH engine sounds back. Sad, maybe someday those helicopters will work.
  8. Yep, so I'll live without engine sounds. It's ok.
  9. Nope, didn't work Nope, didn't work and the A4E and the UH60L were already that way..
  10. Yeah, not gonna do that, I'll live without the sounds.
  11. I can't hear the engines on the MATV or the LATV when driving them... What did I do wrong?
  12. Maybe some liveries for the Swedish stuff to reflect exports? Or maybe get rid of the Swedish Flag on the STRB 90 FAC? It's used by multiple countries. The 90 series vehicles are also used by many countries too, not to mention the list for the HKP 15 B is huge. I've updated the GT.Country files for many of these to reflect that already.
  13. What ever happened with the merlin? The link has been deleted Those are WWII destroyers aren't they? The modern ships have not been done for DCS yet I believe.
  14. I heard nothing good about the <profanity>ty kitty
  15. How a bout a link to the version without static items on the deck already. Planes land and can't park because of all the clutter on the flight deck. There should be a way to modify the .lua to remove all that junk.
  16. Cool, Love your gear!
  17. Try here mod (fc2.com) for Japanese Stuff. BTB the LA-7 is in the works
  18. Anyone know what flight gear works best with mod? Can't imagine flying this with a Warthog HOTAS;
  19. Update the Caucuses Map
  20. Red Army definitely. There's more European stuff available than Japanese, not much but it's out there. My understanding when purchasing WWII Assests and Combined Arms was that they were, like terrains, incomplete and were to be continuously updated. There's been some work, at least uboats will dive and shoot torpedoes now.
  21. LTCDR Thatch would disagree. He figured them out with the F4F Wildcat.
  22. mod (fc2.com) There are some WWII Japanese mods at the link above, the aircraft may need to be fiddled with, if the current version of the Reisen doesn't work or show up use the previous version. The aircraft and the ships work for me and I'm in the current beta version. The Reisen will take off from the Zuikaku. It is showing as flyable in my menu, but I own the P-51 and I think you need that to fly it. The Raiden is a Japanese Army Air Force Plane and is not carrier capable. You can translate the page in your browser since it is in Japanese. All the JGSDF stuff works to as do the B-29, the F2 mod (It's the Japanese F-16) works too

This module has a tough time taking from several Airfields in Northern Israel. Is this accurate? About the only airfield they don't crash on take off is Ramat David and then it better be a pretty light load.
