I'll let you know. I changed the coding once, it still crashed, so I went back to the original coding you did. I'll try removing all other mods and go from there. -

Hi Admiral, you're free to come back to fix this at your leisure but I want to let you know that DCS crashes whenever I try to put an Osa Two into the Mission Editor. I don't have that problem with Osa One but I thought it's worth noting. Could this be something to do with the SA-N-5 Grail surface-to-air missile script from line 170 to line 190 in the Osa_Two.lua document, perhaps the GT.sensors lines in the same document, from line 199 to line 201, or some combination thereof? I'll cut out those lines in the document to see if my theory is correct. I have no idea how to code, and no idea how anything here works so wish me luck, guys. Update: It's made no difference. Nice. -

Ah, fair enough. Either way, we are grateful to have you as part of the DCS community and I'm just happy to see a far nicer M1 Abrams than the old ED/Combined Arms one. -

Thanks once again - I'll get in touch with you when the time is near. As for 3D models I may consider procuring, I have a few ideas but I may not end up buying everything on this list - it's going to be very expensive. At this point, I'm more worried about where I'm gonna get this kind of money. Let's not put the cart before the horse here. In short, I don't know what to buy just yet. -

I'm also considering buying some 3D models for Currenthill when I have some cash to spare. Once I buy some 3D model files, how do I transfer the files or usage rights (or something) to him, and what formats would be easiest to work with in general? -

Regarding this livery, I've been able to get all the other markings down - Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Force Materiel Command, 412th Test Wing, and the 0001 number as well. Sadly, however, the "ED" markings for the landing gear doors are mirrored on the other side of the aircraft upside down. So until I can reach out to Currenthill to give both landing gear doors independent textures, I'll have to put this livery on hold. Sorry, guys. -

Very nice! I look forward to seeing more of your work as always - best of luck with everything. Also, if you're interested in some ideas for future projects you could work on, I have a few. The Boxer series of armored vehicles, with 3D models available for 130 USD (€123 or 1424.5 SEK) would be great for augmenting existing German ground equipment like the Leopard 2 and Marder IFV. You can find the 3D model in question here. https://free3d.com/3d-model/gtk-boxer-all-modification-7047.html. The militaries of Australia, Germany, Lithuania, and the Netherlands use the vehicle, with orders from the British, Ukrainian, and Algerian armed forces for future use. For a similar price, there is the Puma IFV for your consideration. It's just as great at rounding out the collection of existing German army assets like your PzH 2000, the Leopard 2 series of tanks, and the Marder IFV. The 3D model is available here, https://free3d.com/3d-model/puma-ifv-9998.html, for 140 USD (€132.4 or 1533.1 SEK). Lastly, I think that the RMMV HX series of trucks would make great sense as a counterpart to the M939, KAMAZ-43101, HEMTT, and KrAZ-6322 series of logistics trucks that exist in-game. https://www.edrmagazine.eu/swedish-army-orders-rheinmetall-hx-heavy-trucks-for-patriot-system-from-rheinmetall-partner-raytheon. It appears that a lot of your Swedish army assets are mounted to the RMMV HX chassis, such as the UndE 23/Saab Giraffe radar and part of the LVS 103/Patriot missile battery. If possible, you can consider making some of these RMMV HX trucks standalone - they'd fit in quite well as part of FARPs, adding to the immersion. Thanks for everything once again. -

What ship is this? You're brilliant! I'm gonna go and try it out now and if you haven't done liveries for the other two ships yet (Admiral Essen 751 and Admiral Makarov 799), I'm gonna get straight to work. Thank you very much for everything you do. Also, if the Project 11356R ships are similar enough to the Talwar-class frigates used by India, I might do those as well. -

Hello, Currenthill. Thank you very much once again for bringing us such amazing content as always - I can't speak for everyone else but I've been having loads of fun. I'd like to bring up a handful of suggestions about the missiles aboard the Arleigh Burke-class destroyers and Ticonderoga-class cruisers. I'm aware that you are wary of accidentally creating Wunderwaffe as you said in the past, and this would be a big ask, but do hear me out. Firstly, might you consider increasing the range of the RIM-174 ERAM SM-6 missiles? It's mentioned in Wikipedia that "Estimates of the SM-6's range vary; its official published range is 130 nmi (150 mi; 240 km), but it could be anywhere from 200 nmi (230 mi; 370 km) to as much as 250 nmi (290 mi; 460 km)." In a linked article, an SM-6 was used to strike a target 250 miles away. I also think that this could shift the balance of power away from the Type 055 and Type 052D, and make both the Blue and Red factions easier to play with. Secondly, since 2014, Raytheon has been developing a modification to the Block IV Tomahawk to attack moving targets at sea and on land. They carry less fuel to make room for a new passive radar sensor system and have reduced range as a result. This could still be a powerful addition if DCS's game mechanics allow it. Alternatively, you may consider programming or replicating the Block V Tomahawk, introduced in 2021 to include the Block VA Maritime Strike Tomahawk, "capable of hitting moving targets at sea at a distance of 2,500 kilometers (1,553 miles)." Lastly, regarding the RIM-161 SM-3 anti-ballistic missile, would you consider a preset loadout dedicated to ballistic missile defense? I would suggest a loadout like this aboard the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer would include 26* RIM-161 SM3, 30* RIM-174 SM6, 30* RIM-66 SM2MR, and 40* RIM-162 ESSM (quad-packed in one launch canister), with no Tomahawks. You could adjust the numbers at your discretion, but this is just a suggestion. Having just eight anti-ballistic missiles on each ship would not be of much help if I'm being honest. I am well aware that this is quite a huge ask considering we all have a life outside of DCS. Thanks for coming to my TED talk. -

Test-fire your weapons on them (with or without air defenses active)... it's for research purposes haha - Jokes aside though, you should enjoy them however you see fit. -

Yeah, I know - I'll keep looking in the meantime. There's a far better 3d model but it's even more absurdly expensive - 800 dollars (8903.5 SEK or 745.2 EUR). I honestly doubt anyone in the right mind is willing to spend this sort of money. https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d-model-project-11356-admiral-essen/1040610 https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/project-11356-admiral-grigorovich-max/1040061 -

Now that we're on the subject of Russian warships, I'd like to bring up two items. Firstly, I did a livery for Admiral Golovko, the third ship of the Admiral Gorshkov/Project 22350-class ships. It has the pennant number 456, and after quite a lot of work, I managed to put the name on not just the Diff layer, but also the Norm and Roughmet layers. Another livery I did was for Admiral Gorshkov - I added a Z and a V symbol to its funnel (invasion markings for the Russian invasion of Ukraine), as seen during a (controversial) joint naval exercise in South Africa with the People's Liberation Army Navy of China in February of this year. Once I do more work to fine-tune these liveries, I'll send them to you. Secondly, I suggest the Admiral Grigorovich-class frigates, aka Project 11356R. Three ships are active as part of the Black Sea Fleet, taking part in the ongoing war against Ukraine, Another three vessels are slated to be exported to India - they remain under construction at the time of writing (according to Wikipedia). These ships would feel right at home in the Caucasus map. These ships are around 410 feet or 125m meters long, and 50 feet or 15.2 meters wide, with a draft of 14 feet or 4.2 meters. They're equipped with the A190 100mm naval gun (as seen on some Project 20380 and Project 22800 ships). They're also fitted with 8 VLS cells in a 2-by-4 configuration for 3M54T and 3M55 anti-ship cruise missiles, and 3M14T land attack cruise missiles. Another set of VLS cells in a 2-by-12 layout allows for the firing of 9M317 surface-to-air missiles. For close-in air defense, it comes with two AK-630 rotary cannons. Some of the onboard systems and sensors are not much dissimilar to Admiral Gorshkov, so I believe that some coding can be "carried over" should you decide to make an Admiral Grigorovich for DCS. I've found a (rather expensive 3d model of the Admiral Grigorovich - if there are cheaper 3d models out there, do let me know. https://free3d.com/3d-model/admiral-grigorovich-4470.html -
