  1. This is gonna be AWESOME! Also, out of curiosity, did you get these 3D models from MVRsimulation? And if so, do you plan to include other components of the THAAD battery like the Cooling Equipment Unit and the Electronic Equipment Unit? Based on some infographics, the typical THAAD battery also has a Prime Power Unit, and a Tactical Fire Control & Communications formation. The Tactical Fire Control & Communications formation comes with a Tactical Operations Station, a Launch Control Station, and a Tactical Station Group; the Tactical Station Group is made of several vehicles although I can fully understand if you don't include all these components, at least for the time being.
  2. Oh man, this day just keeps getting better!
  3. I see. Who created the Type 003 Fujian mod? And is there a way for me to contact the creator?
  4. This... is... beautiful. Thank you for everything.
  5. Brilliant work! Perhaps in a future release, you could consider something like the FMTV series of trucks - a good 3D model to use could be this, for just $20, €18.5, or 212.6 SEK. https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/m1083-fmtv-6x6-general-utility-truck-6ff09587869f4aeabf8bb317c57bc3d3 I know that this model isn't rigged for animations so this may not be entirely suitable for DCS World purposes, but there are far more expensive options (up to $200, €185, or 2126 SEK) that are rigged and come in different colors (desert tan, green, and the CARC pattern). Speaking of trucks, there also exists the RMMV HX, but for some reason, they're either (relatively) cheap but not rigged for animations, or hideously expensive but rigged and game-ready. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/car/suv/man-military-truck (cheap but not animated) https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/military-vehicle/man-hx77-container-truck (ridiculously expensive) Either way, I continue to donate and we all should. Every amount helps, big or small.
  6. I'm aware. USS America and USS Tripoli do not have well decks - they're more like VTOL carriers. I'm talking about subsequent ships like Bougainville, Fallujah, and whatever comes in the future. Those ones have a Well Deck at the stern to accommodate landing craft, RHIBs, and AAVs, as seen aboard the Wasp-class and Tarawa-class.
  7. This is awesome! By the way, assuming you're reusing ED's 3d model for the updated Flight iiA Arleigh Burke destroyers, there's a pretty good collection of liveries here by Tholozor. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/ On a separate note, do you plan to keep the RIM-174 SM-6 as anti-ship missiles? Or do you have alternatives coming up like the Block V Tomahawk and AGM-158C LRASM? The LRASM fitted with a jettisonable rocket booster has been successfully test-fired from a Mk. 41 VLS.
  8. It'd be nice to get Chinese Type 075 LHDs and Wasp-class LHDs, and the later America-class LHAs that come with a Well deck. Perhaps down the line, ships like Giuseppe Garibaldi, Cavour, Hyuga, Izumo, and Dokdo could be considered although I know decent 3D models of these are expensive and hard to come by.
  9. This is awesome, and we look forward to hearing more about your aircraft mods. I personally look forward to the modified B-1 with the LRASM and JASSM the most - you have your work cut out, and I wish you all the best every step of the way.
  10. Yes, at first, I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking at - I knew that Boeing had the Powered JDAM, and there were proposals for a Powered JSOW (program shelved in favor of JASSM and LRASM procurement). I'm also aware that other than the Ukrainian MiG-29s, AASMs may be used by Su-24s - do you have plans to equip the Su-24 with the AASM?
  11. True, so best of luck with everything, to those working on the F-35 mod, and those who plan to donate or otherwise contribute.
  12. I'll admit that I have little to add to the discussion outside of whatever I've gleaned from marketing material, news articles, trade show footage, word-of-mouth from those involved in F-22 and F-35 programs and operations, those massive budgetary document PDFs, etc. Most of what we know is based on what the DOD, defense contractors, our allies, etc, are willing to say and show about the F-35 program and operational history, and whatever "leaked documents" people show on War Thunder all the time are just snippets and snapshots that don't show us much of the full picture. Another thing I'd like to bring up is that I had a word with one of the A51 Discord moderators a week or so ago - they'll continue developing their F-35 privately.
  13. Much appreciated! Best of luck, we look forward to seeing more of your works.
  14. Thank you very much for bringing us the USS Constellation - It appears that you bought the 3D model here. https://free3d.com/3d-model/ffgx-next-generation-frigate-4274.html I want to point a few things out, however. Firstly, as far as I know, hull number 56 doesn't go on a Constellation-class frigate, although a quick workaround could be to swap the numbers to make 65. Secondly, the NSM launchers fitted amidships should be angled inward instead of outward - I believe this is to prevent wear and tear from rocket booster exhaust blasting into the ship every time they launch a missile. Lastly, it could be the camera angle, but the superstructure and mast appear tall compared to official US Navy images and renders. I know I shouldn't be so critical and judgmental, but I'm here to provide insight and feedback based on my observations. Thanks again as always for your brilliant contributions - I think I'm getting a bit too pedantic now so I'll let others speak.
  15. They did. Let's continue this discussion in DMs - I'll get in touch with you guys on Discord.
  16. Happy to hear from you again. We as the DCS community love and appreciate the work you do for us, and you need all the help you can get. Good luck with everything.
  17. M2 Bradley - this is sweet. I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us. Also, I can't say I recognize the extra sensors on top of the turret - could this be the M2A4 variant by chance?
  18. This is AWESOME! I'm a little far from home right now but I'll be trying everything out as soon as I get back to my computer. In the coming weeks, I'll also be putting PLA markings on the vehicles and doing hull numbers for the Type 056 corvette.
  19. https://discord.com/invite/8JCwqwaP Try this instead.
  20. Type 054B. Oh my God you're an absolute legend. I couldn't find a good 3D model if my life depended on it but here you are
  21. Speaking of missiles, would you consider giving the SM-6 aboard Ticonderoga and Arleigh Burke iii a range increase to around 250 nautical miles? I understand you want to avoid falling into the trap of creating wunderwaffe but I thought you might be interested in making these changes. Also, do you think it'd make sense to do a ballistic missile defense payload on the Arleigh Burke, with, for example, 48x SM-3, 16x SM-6, 24x SM-2, and 32x ESSM (with the Tomahawk excluded altogether) or is that not really a thing that the US Navy does?
  22. I don't know if this will be out of the scope of this project but have you considered doing other variants of the Allen M. Sumner-class destroyers, particularly the ones with FRAM modifications from the late 1950s? I understand that good 3D models are hard to find, but if this is something you and your team are considering, I'll consider donating. I don't have much money with me at the moment but I hope it helps.
  23. Hope you can find a good 3D model that isn't too expensive. Best to consult Currenthill on Discord before buying anything.
  24. Understood. Good luck with everything else.
  25. As long as you buy him a suitable 3d model or give him the necessary funds for the 3d model, he'll do it.
