I quit Flight sims awhile back(long while) so Id like to hear from people about the steam experience and which version is best ,Im not wild about the steam version running in the background and Ive read some posts about bugs related to steam. I would love to hear from the community.:pilotfly:

Nice specs warrior, what speed does the mav travel at?mach 1.5?seems kinda far fetched that a sam could kill something so fast and small any real world info on this?not that Im doubting ya just wonderin if its realistic sounds cool though...........

I have a Warthog and a trackir5 and would love to be able to zoom in the cockpit but with all the hats on the warthog taken Im at a loss to be able to zoom ,any and all ideas would be appreciated.:)

The new and old training missions have stopped responding to the spacebar to move forward in the lesson??????????????you know hit the spacebar when you are ready to continue it just sits there and nothing happens, very strange was really looking forward to some training mission that actually worked.:cry:

from what Ive read Nvidia is best for this sim (I think it even utilizes sli)as the catalyst drivers arent up to snuff for this sim yet, I would love to see quad core support as well

Why would you delete the custom controller files Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {207A3CB0-E368-11df-8001-444553540000}.lua Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals {F20F8B40-8379-11de-8006-444553540000}.lua Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {207A3CB0-E368-11df-8002-444553540000}.lua this is the exact setup I have except I have a track IR 5 and cougar mfds Im confused why you would delete those custom controller files?

Im running win7 64 so no calibration of controllers in windows that I know of but the cougar software does allow it ,but I appreciate any and all answers, I just tried the training mission for take offs and it has stopped(for now) I did go thru all possible categories in the controller options and may have solved this issue (I hope)Im astounded with the complexity and fidelity of this sim(theres so much to learn)Thanx for your help

Im knew to DCSa10C so bear with me, but why is throttle backing down at times without any input from me(Im using a Cougar ATM)is this some kinda engine protection scheme in the sim?it happens in the training missions and the free flight missions and its annoying as hell I have not even tried any combat yet just trying to learn to fly it..............
