Ive never seen an F5 with navy markings ever and I grew up outside an NAS training base .I may be mistaken but I believe its always been a air force bird but I like its so much I may buy this module.............

Then why at launch on the carriers is it so nose up after launch ?seems screwey to me I have to literally push the stick all the way forward and chop the throttle and it still acts like it don't want to get level?

I have been away along time almost 7 years and Ive bought the fa18 module but Ive run into an issue with take offs from the Stennis the trim is all messed up and I mapped the take off trim button on my warthog throttle but to no avail the hornet keeps wanting to climb I know its gotta be operator error so any help would be appreciated...………...

one thing most don't think about the WMR software scans your hardware and if you have an older CPU ,windows will refuse to go any farther in the installation and flat refuses to finish installation of WMR which forced me to return the odyssey + .funny thing is steam vr does the same tests of your hardware and my machine was found to be more than adequate,I wont build a new computer to run VR when I know full well mine is up to the task, I suspect some hanky panky is involved with windows and hardware manufacturers(intel).IMHO

Viacom pro has been a PITA for me so far very buggy if I had to doit it over Id pass on Viacom pro

so the vive pro is NOT windows mixed reality you only need steam vr to run it?

does anyone know if there is a workaround for the STUPID hardware check in windows mixed reality ? I have an older I7 cpu 3.7 ghz it runs the oculus just fine I just wanted the sde and higher resolution the odyssey plus is doing now. Any help would be appreciated other wise its gonna go back...……...

is there a keyboard stroke to resize the window in voice attack mine arbitrarily grew to where I cannot click on the options button (lower right corner in voice attack)I had resized the window earlier but voice attack keeps resizing it(the window)with out any input from me. Thanks Skip

Iam getting the same message when I try to enter the config window and I only have one profile and I have not switched profiles at all and I paid for both versions of voice attack and Viacom pro it just started doing this with no changes whatsoever?

Ive got a 9 year old I7 950 and oculus home says the same nonsense but the whole computer has benchmarked in the 14k range in futuremark, so I just ignore it it works fine...……..

another question is the base stations for the Vive pro are not included? are they absolutely necessary for DCS? the extra cost is not a game changer but it would be nice to know pre purchase and again thanks for all the info people.

$800 as opposed to $500 is considerable ,the vive is VR not WMR right?also the lenses in the vive are fresnels or Oleds?

I really appreciate the input from everyone, I only care about VR in DCS at the moment so controllers are a non issue for me , what does concern me is this, do these units (vive pro and Odyessy +) require the use of steam vr? My DCS modules are all non steam modules and I don't want to mess with steam if I can avoid it, I have the horsepower to run either one ,Rtx2080 and 32GB of ram with ssds@6GB per sec.From what Ive read here the odyessy+ is probably the way to go as I feel like the vive pro is grossly overpriced IMHO
