Anyone else having this issue?the map isnt installing in my stable version?I suspect its because its an release maybe?usually maps arent early release right?anyone else getting this?

I just preordered the 8Kx! Was this a smart thing to do given the situation?Pimax is saying they are Ready to go into mass production "soon" Im taking that with a grain of salt. Im wanting pimax customer opinions from here on this forum.I am not in a huge hurry as I have an Index but I really would like current Pimax customers Thoughts (would you preorder? right now?)Lots of hate and discontent towards this company.....Please let me know what you think and thanks in advance.

I personally cant believe people are trying to run this sim in VR on 16gb?

the sim is much smoother with more memory/and an SSD my task manager show at least 12gb used in VR at 16gb that doesnt leave you a lotta room

There is an issue with this stick and severed internal wires going to the weapon select switch(rendering it useless) and the stick is glued together(so very difficult to disassemble)the pictures are on their forum........

Update The VFX weapon select switch is actually a severed wire inside the stick goin to the switch another owner took his apart and took pictures its on their forums

all you do with their software is calibrate it right?Does DCS recognise their stuff in contols?

I just wanted something that was good for the F14 that worked with the WH base, but I saw a couple of posts about the weapon selector switch(the best thing about the grip) stopped functioning on one the guy said was only a couple days old.Also are there any issues in DCS with the TM base and the virpil grip working in DCS?Thanks for the help.

Not with an Index runs with no fussing and Valve is constantly up dating SteamVR works every time(this is why I wont be buying a reverb) WMR is a mess

How long ago did you try the 8kx? because the pre production models were iffy at best from what Ive read.

Ive been watching the CES videos and was startled to hear some of the people remarked that there was little difference between the 8k+ and the 8Kx Does anyone on these forums own an 8k+ and what are your opinions on this HMD ?I dont really believe the general public is gonna see the 8Kx for at least a year and im considering the plus.Thanks in advance

I have an issue............my VR HMD is an Index the built Mic is what I want to use for Va in DCS, but when I go into config its not seeing the Index at all in the dropdown it has every sound device but the index This is with steamvr running, any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Id say MUCH,MUCH later a rewrite like that could take years if they ever do it at all, after all they have no Financial motivation/reason to do that much work to give us a 20% increase in performance.which is from what Ive read is about all there is to be gained according to people who know more than I about the API
