  1. Something is wrong with your shark. It should be enough to switch the Cockpit language to english - which you obviously did. As there are several English descriptions in your cockpit. But, for example, the "ON OFF" Switch for the ABRIS is in Russian. Do you have any mods installed? Maybe Run a repair on DCS.
  2. Additionally to that, sometimes if you use A-G Radar with a scan cone lower than 60 Degree, the scan cone will stop following the Radar Cursor. This is in Mapping and GMTI Moder. I have to check for SEA 1&2
  3. Jeff can do SEAD, too
  4. Yesterday the issue was still there.
  5. Yeah but protecting something with more ships won’t work in DCS, because then the 802AK cannot be shot down if below 10 meters. It’s a DCS limitation. Ive seen RB-04 being shot down, so they are not the „wonder-weapon“ the 802 would be if flying below 10m.
  6. Yes, but no. I meant in the context of DCS it will become impossible to intercept the missile as no AA would be abled to track it below 10m, and the C802AK will become a wonder-weapon
  7. That would mean that on „low“ it’s not possible anymore for the AI to intercept the C802AK with missiles.
  8. It seems nobody in this thread does really know what the switch would really entail.
  9. Maybe stupid question but, what would that mean in terms of missile behaviour changes?
  10. But, you’re giving the bomb GPS etc. once you switch master arm on and select them in sms. That INS+GPS is for the Jeff’s navigation system and should be turned on as soon as possible.
  11. I’ve checked yesterday on MT in single player. GB-6 HE was precise down to 1m or so. I’ve used GC Alignment and GPS Assist for INS.
  12. I’ll check later today. @AeriaGloria In DCS they were always PinPoint accurate if employed correctly.
  13. Use GC Alignment instead of fast. After Master Arm on, and switching the LSs on, wait for them to align properly(!). Alignment countdown is usually shown in the lower section of the right MFD.
  14. No the ranging is always active. It’s the manual laser target designation for weapons.
  15. Disclaimer: I didn’t play this mission. MITL Guidance is only possible and required on the CM-802AKG ( The cruise missile version), not on the CM-802AK. If you are using the AK Version (which is the dedicated anti ship version), once it is on its way it does not require a constant radar lock, its fire and forget. So, if you change the SPI after Launch, the AK does not care or know that. It’s flying where the SPI was upon launch, activate its radar a few km (10?20?) before and look for a target in the pre programmed size (SML, MED, LAR) You could set RPs (Route points) to get around the island. The last RP should be where the target is supposed to be, as this denotes the search area for the AKs onboard radar.
  16. We’ve been a bit late with the bug report.
  17. I can very strongly second this. We‘ve tried it in a squadron ops a while ago. Literally none of us could get that thing to drop in CCRP. In CCIP it works - sometimes. so either there is a launch parameter unknown or it is bugged.
  18. I started to do tests with 90% throttle, but loaded at 25k the aoa grew and grew. So I left it at that, remembered that you rarely get more than 150nm to AO anyway and most people are inpatient.
  19. Yeah, makes sense. All the calculations assume 100% throttle (combat mode activated) and there is a 10% margin on top (changeable). it’s not for exact fuel planning to save every pound.
  20. If i remember correct its called gain not brightness, that’s maybe why you are not finding it. So, yes there is a setting to change that. And it can be bound to buttons. I use the NVG sometimes at daylight, as sort of a poor mans HMD to see the JTACS Laser
  21. Yes, i did. It’s working okay. Did some test runs at different altitudes, loadouts and throttle setting and baked it into some formulas. It’s pretty rudimentary as only calculates fuel and loiter time for 10 and 25k feet. However, there it is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sOolJDhRb2Tn4TorFLv9gJqm7G4_03v36txyI_nRqAc/edit
  22. I hope it doesn’t change that much, otherwise i have to redo my bingo and loiter time calculator
  23. Aaaah, okay, now I understand! Thank you very much!
  24. Stupid question maybe, but: Why is it important to know the optimal AoA? Just curious.
