Is there any way to keep units close to your last unit when adding another unit? I mean, I put down an infantry dude. Go to add an additional grunt to the same group and he's out of screen a hundred feet away. If I have to add like 20 dudes, I have to zoom out so far to find them...Is there a button I can press that'll keep them at least with in the screen when adding more?

I know you said the M134 would crash on the #2 side of the bird if fired but is it able to be equipped if just using the aircraft for airfield mockup or is it completely locked out?

Would this be usable with the MH-47 attachments mod to get a visually accurate MH-47G for some good old fashioned SOAR missions?

What is the "Aircraft Control Priority?" I don't recall seeing that before updating to 6.1 on the armed MH-60L version...

Does anyone know any additional resources for airfield equipment? I'm talking about additional styles of cargo; Air Force pallets with boxes and the netting on it; GSE vehicles the Air Forces uses to off load cargo; I don't know what the truck is called; folded helicopters to off load from C-5's, etc...Things to make places like Bagram look like planes are unloading cargo.

Well, I'm sure your special but in a different way LOL Oh, I remember Manas...First Afghan deployment was Bragg-Manas-Bagram-Salerno. Chartered commercial flight to Manas then C-17 to Bagram and C-130 to Salerno. 2nd Afghan deployment was Bragg straight to Bagram on a chartered commercial bird, if I remember correctly.

Sounds about right! My favorite was always the God voice going, "Controlled det. 5 mins" Then 6 secs later, big boom. Salerno was bad for that and someone's watch was always off too apparently AW139, were you aircrew brother?

Same here Eric...Bagram was mostly just wet with the mountains of the bowl it was in having snow on the caps around it. Salerno didn't have any snow and was actually a nice winter when on that deployment.

Does anyone know where I can find the folder that contains the static objects? What I'm trying to do is get into their .lua files and change their countries. Certain aircraft are only available in certain cases, say Russia, but US also operates them or they're available through contractors. I would prefer not to have a "red" bird on an airfield because an MI-26 isn't available to the US....

The zoomies taking off did get annoying, don't get me wrong, especially when you were trying to sleep, but loved watching them take off from a front row seat. I was a UH-60 crew chief and saw them take off all the time whenever we were on the flight line. Great sight seeing F-16s and A-10s take off. Night time was even better when the Vipers would have the burners on, pretty...The C-RAM about 100m from housing woke us up more than the jets Lol

Don't think I ever made it to Blessing. I did Salerno and Bagram. Didn't like Bagram Lol I did hit a bunch of different FOBs on that Bagram rotation, most of which I don't remember.

How's this going? Has the template been updated with Blessing and the Nangalam area? Also, what mods are needed for the templates?

The map itself is fine. I have some personal opinions about the map, I'd like to see the map modeled around the 2011-2014 time frame but that's just because I was there during that time so that's I remember Afghanistan. All in all, though, ED did a decent job with it.

I bought the whole thing too for the same reason you did. Don't want to spend the money on different portions of my old stomping grounds Lol I've mostly hung around the east in game as well since I'm personally familiar with that area, Salerno, Bagram, Kabul, J-Bad, etc...There's no time frame for other parts of Afghan by chance, is there?

Yeah, I always on commercial birds when I flew into Bagram. The only time I wasn't in commercial was when we went to/from Salerno. Only C-130's can land at Salerno.

Anyone else notice that, at least in M.E., Maz is just a Google Earth cut and paste and only in the SAT option of M.E.? ED hasn't gotten to the northern parts of Afghan yet?

I'm trying to find a mod that has more additional civil style aircraft. I have the civil aircraft mod that has the Airbuses and some Boeing. I'm trying to find some of the smaller birds. Cessnas, Falcons, Gulfstreams, etc...Anyone familiar with anything like that?

Riverman? Someone on here? I was a 15T, UH-60 mechanic/crew chief for over 12 years in the Army, 2004-2016. I've worked on the A, L and the M model. Can't beat an A+ model; the lighter weight A but with the L engines and driveline. It hauled butt; but the M is the new hotness. Riverman and I need to get with whoever makes the module and school them Lol
