  2. So, if that's the case, the only way to truly get more pylons/weapons is to go into the modeler and add more pylons/connectors... Still can't get fuel to increase. Could that be a modeler based issue as well?
  3. It seems like it's the same LUA. I'll try changing one and copy/paste the others. We'll see what happens.
  4. I actually got the 5 digits after pylon, that took forever to figure out and FOREVER to move something around to just the right place. One digit then restart the game....UGH!! I noticed that there are multiple LUA's scattered throughout different files. Do I need to update all of them?
  5. I think I found out what it was...Fuel. Too much fuel. If I set the M_fuel_max to what the aircraft is supposed to be in real life, I think it spazs the bird...Still tweaking though. Does the modeling of the aircraft also dictate how much fuel it can hold? As in, it's modeled to hold only X amount of fuel but you tell the LUA it can hold Y amount of fuel. Am I even close on that? It only lets me put in 11,000lbs of fuel internally. However, I'm trying to get it to hold 13,759lbs, which is what the bird holds in real life. Even bringing up the refuel menu, tops off at 11,000lbs, not including drop tanks. Obviously it can hold more but internally, it's off.
  6. Well darn. Definitely wish it was easier to test. I made a bunch of tweaks but didn't test as I went along...Now it crashes when the bird hits 63% and main generators want to kick on. Had to start over with a clean LUA and doing one thing then testing...One more thing then testing...Gonna be awhile...
  7. Pretty basic questions here, good ole Google couldn't help any. I'm trying to find just some basic definitions for these terms in the LUA use_full_connector_position = true/false connector = "XXX" arg = "XXX" arg_value ="XXX" I have the PDF for the basic modding but a lot of this isn't covered in there and can't find much in terms of Googling. A lot of the other stuff I am just kind of winging it and if I see an A-10 when I open it back up, I jacked it up some how. Also, is there a quicker way to view my changes or do I just have to exit DCS each time and reopen it? Kind of a pain in the ass and it takes a minute to fire up each time.
  8. I know pylons have a line of code for what connector it uses. I am assuming this just tells it where it's located in regard to the 3d modeling and total number of pylons. My question is, what determines the pylon connector? Is that done in the 3d modeling? I can't seem to find anything in the .lua for the aircraft.
  9. Nothing on the fuel issue? This is the fuel loadout for a Superbug with 3 external tanks. Numbers just don't add up. All 3 tanks should have the same amount of fuel in them, all 3 supposed to be 480 gallon tanks. JP-8/JP-4/NATO F-34 fuel weighs 6.7/6.8 pounds per gallon. 480 gallons of go juice should weigh 3,264 pounds. Center line tank is only showing, 2,290 pounds and my wing tanks are only showing 620 pounds? WTF Batman??
  10. One problem I'm having is that if I do a slick version of a SOAR bird, i.e. no stubby ESSS, I select remove pylon but once I fire up the game, the ESSS is back. No matter what I do, the wings come back. Edit: Of course just as I post this, it's working as advertised. Go figure...

  13. I get the FCR, have that pinging away but I'm not picking up any targets. This mission does have them a static target versus a placed vehicle, Syria weapons range mission. All I did was add radar Hellfires and an FCR to the bird. The mission has the range preset with static targets. Do I need to chance them to an actual vehicle for the FCR to pick them up?
  14. Not a fan of George. He just put me in the trees...Went to 0 ground speed and a 100ft hover. Very simple for an Apache. Ole George in the back seat balls us up.
  15. I guess the big thing is that the 25 isn't full fidelity. I'm yelling at my computer monitor to show me where the switches to flick so I can crank the sucker. It's weird going from Apaches, Eagles, Hornets to something like the SU-25. It's all keystrokes versus flicking switches.
  16. I don't have head tracking. Whenever I go to boresight the IHADSS, my BRU isn't centered. It's like my seat is to high. How does one go about bring that BRU down so I can get a proper boresight?
  17. MAX, that's what I was wondering about. I get the Frog isn't full-fid, is that why the mouse isn't there?
  18. I don't want it confined. My settings are right. If I'm in my F15-E and I move the mouse around, I can see the mouse in game and I can click on things. The Frog, not so much. I can move my mouse around all day long, but I can't see where it is. Don't know if that makes sense or not.
  19. Well...That explains a lot then. Is that why the mouse disappears when I go from my right monitor to my left, which has DCS running on it?
  20. So, this is my first time in the SU-25T. The manual provided isn't all that great. Is there a manual around that has an actual start-up procedure in it? Also, my mouse disappeared. Every other module I have, I get the mouse so I can click on switches, but not this one. Does it need to be mapped to something so I can click on things?
  21. Yes, another post. I noticed that the centerline external fuel tank is 480 gallons now versus the 330 gallons however, it doesn't seem like I am carrying any additional fuel on the F model as I did in the C model. Can't eject the tank either. Does it refill or do you have to rearm/refuel twice? Also, I know this is based on the Hornet already in the system, but the fuel capacity isn't increased on the E is it? Looks like the same amount of fuel as the C model. C model-10,860lbs internal, E model-14,400lbs internal.
  22. Dumb question, getting the FA18EF_Outboard.cmd to run...I use it and says the path isn't there. Same for the 2 AIM-120 .cmds
  23. I would think that too rob10 but for some reason, not all airports are created equally. I see in the files all the airfields have a file but they are rn4 and rn 5 files. I have no clue what those are or what to open them with.
  24. Just trying to place different aircraft in the mission editor. I don't use static birds because I want the boom and points LOL So, I set them uncontrollable with ordinance. How ever, when trying to place some aircraft and set to take off from parking, it'll move the aircraft to another airport all together. Example, a TU-22 at Damascus. I click on say a pad, I don't have a number off hand. Aircraft appears. I select take off from parking. It moves to a different parking pad at Beirut-Rafic Hariri airport.
  25. Even something I can find in a LUA file that I can view to see what is placeable.
