You talking about doing the death spiral in? If you are, like, 10,000ft or higher, call tower for a left or right spiral down for landing RWY XX. Tower clears you. Pitch it over and down aggressively to about a 55deg turn. You literally pull out of this thing at like 1,000AGL to line up for landing. This is typically done directly over the airfield with the last few spirals just ever so slightly extended out to help with line up with the runway. I've been in C-17's when they did this, C-130's as well. We've even done this in our UH-60's just for sh!ts and giggles. It's a very weird feeling inside if you've never done anything like that before and of course the aircrew doesn't tell you when it's going to happen either.

Do the Currenthill elements work in place of some of the stock units?

This asset pack also needs to have FOB buildings, especially LAMS-A. Some of the FOBs on the map have them preinserted on the map but it's not an option under static objects to get the FOBs to match their real-life version.

Just curious, why is it that the CH assets can't seem to do attack group or attack unit? They can fire at point but that seems about it. -
CTRL does the job...No to figure out why my HIMARS won't attack group or unit. Ugh...

Dumb questions, is there a way to move element #1 in a group without moving the entire group around? Can't tell you how many times I went and set up a group in certain spots on the map but forgot to move the lead vehicle. Then once you move the lead guy, the entire formation moves, and you have to start over. Do pressing shift or CTRL help with that or anything?

Tell me there will be a how to for this....That panel is cheap enough to get and can probably make it work on just about anything.

They don't have a "line" trigger zone do they? It's either circle or "square?" as in, I can't just draw a line on the border...

I'll look into that...I'm trying to get them as accurate as possible using maps and what not. In real life, we all know that radars close to the border with Jordan can see well into Jordian airspace. They obviously don't fire into Jordan for risk of war. I didn't think DCS puts the knowledge in there to not shoot cross border. They just want things to go boom Lol

Thought so...I'm assuming best bet for that would probably be to set a bunch of triggers along borders? That would suck...

Very dumb question...Do, say, Syrian SAM's know where the border is with Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq? Or are they just going to fire regardless of airspace?

Stinger just said a cargo plane, he didn't say what kind...The Navy does have -130 variants.

I'm hoping they'll do aircraft as a cargo also. Fly a C-130 in on some random patch of dirt. Push out a few AH-6 Littlebirds. Set a timer for late activation then have them fly out and destroy some stuff Lol I snipped this from their Discord. Hopefully this will help...

Mine is doing the same thing! I even removed mods from Saved Games and dropped them back in one by one. All worked until I dropped the Super Hornet into Saved Games. Now freezes at ng.5.

Oh yeah, they are definitely in range. On CH's site it lists close to 900 miles for range and I'm at about 100 miles from ships to target. I'm wanting it to be a triggered action when I cross a zone. Waypoints on these ships about a hundred miles apart. I tried switching one of the ships to the in game Burke class and still no joy. I'm going to try Attack Point next. I did forget to mention, I'm doing a Final Countdown type scenario here. Modern equipment that went back blah blah blah....At first I thought GPS due to the year but the GPS guided weapons on my Hornet are working just fine.

Happy Sunday everyone! So, I made a carrier strike group consisting of a Nimitz class, Tarawa class LHA, some Current Hill Arleigh Burkes and some Current Hill Ticonderoga class ships. I have the strike group set to attack some land targets since both the cruisers and destroyers are capable of taking them out. I'll insert pictures below to see how I have it setup. At the moment, it's set to a 10 sec timer to push the task just for testing. Once I know it works right, I'll set it to when my plane is in a zone and I'll move the zone further north. Problem is, they do nothing. I could be because they are CH mods and maybe the game doesn't like that. I'm going to try the in-game ships to see what happens. Any in sight would be helpful. Thanks!

That I also see. I like that idea. Granted, less fuel in that tank but the addition of an additional sensor usually outweighs that.
