  1. Hi there, Still working on it. Just had a baby so it is tough finding the times these days. But thanks for your interest. New website also coming soon.
  2. Hi there Hammer, Thanks for the comments. No...I will not be asking people to buy a separate iPad version. The plan is for it to be universal (iphone and iPad in one app) however, the iPad version will ship after the iPhone. In short...you will get the iPhone app to begin with but subsequent releases will provide the iPad version for free.
  3. RWR Reference screen. Tapping the threat will give you more information.
  4. It will run on ipad2. For the first release it will run a an iPhone app bit an iPad version will follow.
  5. I want to release something by the end of this month. It won't be perfect but I need to push something out as this has taken way longer than I hoped. It won't be free....but it will be affordable. I am hoping that people appreciate the time, effort and thought that will have gone into this to consider paying a small amount for it so I can recoup costs associated with it.
  6. When using CBU-97s (these are the skeets right...anti armour???) I am unable to get the pipper to show on the hud unless I am in like a 45deg+ dive. Is this simply because of HOF? I use whatever default for the HOF was set (1700ft) and because the dive required is so steep I need to be basically over the target before I commence the dive to avoid losing so much altitude that I get Invalid fusing. This is the same problem for the friend I fly with. We recently thought we'd try the 3/9 method of delivery and it was a breath of fresh air. Weird thing is CBU-87 will deploy in CCIP just like any other iron bomb will (ie. relatively shallow dive will bring pipper onto the HUD) but a CBU-97 requires what seems an incredibly steep dive. I've never thought it was a bug or reported it as one, just always thought I was using them wrong and when I tried 3/9 it was a breathe of fresh air.
  7. In my experience (and I'm not claiming I have all the answers here) I find the dive required to use regular CCIP so steep that accuracy is severely limited. Knowing when to perform the dive, being high enough to dive, finding the target during the dive and getting the pipper on the target are all a complex dance that affects my accuracy. I have recently experimented with CCIp in 3/9 delivery mode and this has increased the accuracy and effectiveness of my CBU-97s DRAMATICALLY! I would really recommend giving it a try.
  8. Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately it requires iOS5. I believe 3GS can only run 4.3. We may update the code to run on older devices after release. Using iOS5 just cuts down on development time.
  9. Quick update on the progress of DCS: CoPilot. It will enable custom checklists and also will have future support for Mustang, Blackshark, etc. We are building it from the ground up to allow extra modules to be plugged in as new aircraft are released for DCS World. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1524625&posted=1#post1524625
  10. 2 more screens: Caution Panel and RWR reference.
  11. Been a bit quiet on communicating progress but things have been happening. Here are some screen shots of how it is shaping up. Just as a side note, all graphics are hand drawn and don't use the questionable quality of screenshots taken out of the game. We are really paying attention to the whole user experience.
  12. Since quite some time your config files live in Users/Your name/Saved Data/DCSA10...or soemthing like that. They are not in your DCS A-10 directory but in your Users directory.
  13. I don't think FSX uses LUA as it's scripting language. Sorry but I have no idea how FSX works.
  14. I'll have what Paul is smoking.
  15. That is a very cool way of implementing the best of both worlds. Well done!
  16. I think that's the point Leroy. Popping up is different from a mission where the primary objective is to clear an area of SAMs. And again, I don't mean MANPADs here.
  17. Well said. echoes my sentiments exactly.
  18. Nice find wingtip. The Desktop aviator device i mean.
  19. Well done :-) Glad I could help :-)
  20. Hallejuhah brother. Testify. As much I enjoy and appreciate the missions made by the community the fascination with SAM hunting drives me insane. I really get quite frustrated with missions who add some kind of SAM destruction by A-10s as a winning condition of the mission. I can only deduce that it is some hang over from Viper drivers who liked SEAD mission in Falcon and are trying to mimic the experience in A-10, but as you mentioned, Hawgs are not sent in to clear SAMs. They may need to take out AAA around the area (especially non radar guided AAA) but going up against SAMs is simply not in Hawg doctrine. The only reason I can think of SAMs in a mission (that is...non MANPAD) is to help cordon the player to a specific area or to add an element of SAM avoidance to the mission (like the In the Weeds mission). Otherwise, sending Hawgs up against them is unrealistic IMHO.
  21. Sickdog, Seeing as you don't have the time to make improvements and you aren't selling this, ever thought of just posting the source code on something like GitHub and letting others who have the time improve it?
  22. You know...sometimes reading threads that I would otherwise find innocuous strangely make me angry. I read through this thread and I am amazed at people's comments about pricing. The price doesn't suit you, fine, you ahve 2 options. Don't buy it or hey, make one yourself. Until you have tried making something like this yourself you most likely have very little idea about how much work goes into a product like this (I develop in iOS...I do). Why people feel compelled to tell the world about why they think the prices is so high really mystifies me. Opinions are like armpits. People have more than one and they usually stink. 30 buck is not unreasonable, especially given the niche market of this. boarder isn't going to sell a 100,000 copies of this is he? To cover his costs (and I'm sure his time is worth every bit as we think our time is worth) I don't think what he asks is unreasonable. Is a little high? Maybe. Is comparable with what you would pay for any other hobby for an accessory? Yes. As for the Android stuff. *sigh* People also seem to think that when you program stuff all of sudden you have indepth knowledge of every variant of programming language and the devices to run it on. If you really want it on your Android, program it yourself or approach someone to do it for you. It's for iOS....get over it. It already takes significant effort to develop it for one device what makes people think that us hobbyist programmers are just dying to spend even more time learning other platforms that don't interest us just to cater for their device choice. There is this sense of entitlement people on the Internet have just rubs me the wrong way....a lot.
  23. Hey. Glad you liked the video. Like Strix said, the gauge doesn't matter. We are not dealing with currents that heavy duty here so the easiest or cheapest wire will do. No other connectors are required but depending on which version of the GPWiz you buy you may need a soldering iron. If you don't want to solder be sure to get the version with screw connectors. Other than that all zoo need is switches, wire, a box and your GPWiz.
