  1. App is progressing. Now have the new improved Checklist function working including adding/editing of checklist items and the ability to add your own notes to each checklist item. If you are interested in unit/beta testing as the product evolves please visit this link using your iOS5 device. http://bit.ly/vKMyn9
  2. Can we define what calculation would need to take place. I could build into my upcoming iPhone app.
  3. Is something that could be programmed into a tool? That is, like in an iPhone app put in fuel flow and remaining quantity and get approximate flight time and/or distance?
  4. Unfortunately no Sappo. I know there is lots of demand but to be honest, just getting this out on IPhone has been a huge learning curve and time blackhole for me. Learning Android is whole other beast. However, when it's done, I am willing to share source code with the right person to make an Android app available if they need it.
  5. It should be around the 3 dollar mark. I'm not sure what Apple pricing tier levels are but that's what Im aiming for. I only want to recoup costs associated with joining the program. Not out to make a lot of money here.
  6. Thanks for the compliments Hellfinger. That is kinda what I meant. I would be interested in seeing all your connector parts and how you wired to your USB interface. I am also trying to make my panels more friendly in terms of wiring. I wanted to build something with connectors so that when I open the box I can just unplug wires rather than having them soldered or screwed. Can you make a picture of the wiring and list all the conrad parts you used to connect the board? I live in Switzerland so I can buy from Conrad as well. Thanks for sharing all this info Hellfinger. It is what makes this community great!
  7. CAn you post the Conrad link to the connectors?
  8. Update Been putting in some time on this recently. Here is the iPhone4 Retina version of the Airfields list
  9. I didn't know that. Learn something every day. Thanks for that fun fact!
  10. You're very welcome Mule. The idea behind sharing this was to inspire and show people that electronics need not be such a mysterious place. This is fairly basic stuff in the scheme of things and I'm glad people not only appreciate it but that they are also are inspired and even add to the great info in this thread. Looking forward to what you come up with.
  11. Hi grimm, I am assuming you are the one who posted in the YouTube channel as well. Glad you found it here. A guy named Dave in this forum can make laser cut panels for you should you need em. Regarding the pulse. The cheap way is to use the chip as I outlined in my video. They aren't too expensive. The effort is in wiring them up. But A-10 at least (and I'm assuming future sims worth their salt) caters for continuous transmission of buttons. DirectX in combination with USB makes this all a bit easier now for sim programmers and I'm not sure the pulse is needed for anything but the oldest sims around. Thanks for the comments on the vids.
  12. I am not aware of any way of doing this. However, the iPhone app I am building at the moment plans to grab these from the mission file and place them in a weather screen for the mission. I know this doesn't help much but there is a way to integrate the mission file with some kind of mission briefing tool.
  13. Stay tuned for that. Working on that for DCS CoPilot.
  14. Works fine on my Windows 7 64bit. Should not be a problem.
  15. Nice addition Ragtop. Thanks for contibuting!
  16. Any news on when this is due to release?
  17. I think this needs to be in the Home Cockpits forum no? Either way I think you'll get a better response there. I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve with your LEDs. You just want cockpit lighting? You want to display warning lights? You might want to check out the thread on potentiometers and hooking them up to A-10 for further info on controlling lighting from inside A-10.
  18. Video showing the mission loading feature.
  19. Hey guys. Just a quick video showing how my app will support Russki.
  20. Forgive me. But why do people keep asking iPhone developers whether they are going to make stuff for Android?
  21. There is a 9 line card on there. Lat item on the mission card "clipboard" menu.
  22. Burnsy, The A-10 Warthog (which I own) has a 3 position switch left of the throttle for controlling flaps in 3 position. Up, medium, full. As it is will be using some kind of DirectX input I am positive that A-10 will have the ability to change the flap degress based on button presses.
  23. I don't see why not Burnsy. Only problem with the GGG is that is supports rotarys with multiple of 3 positions. I haven't connected one myself so unsure how it works. But your idea seems sound. Quite clever really.
  24. Not sure if anyone is following this blog but... http://deadfrogstudios.com/?page_id=6
