  1. No, I never use labels, use your wingman to scout, and read the briefings, that's really all that you need.
  2. Yours do look much better, thank you.
  3. The Tiger tank had the same armour thickness on the bottom as on the top (around 25 mm), as said you will never penetrate that with a 50 .cal ball round, not even if you "bounce it on the ground first". :)
  4. Well, ED should make use of the search option then and remove it. This has been driving me insane since early beta and still do.
  5. DCS world doesn't crash if you have activation issues, could you please explain exactly what happens? Also run a dxdiag and save all information as a file and post it here.
  6. I would not recommend the pro clip to anyone, I've had two. Both failed within two weeks and I didn't notice any improvement with tracking, at all. The build quality is so horrendously bad that I am amazed that they even are allowed sell the crap. Seriously, they are a complete waste of money. The track IR itself on another hand is a must have.
  7. The spotlight is not really usable for combat though.
  8. Indeed.
  9. It is by design, starforce will not run in a virtual environment.
  10. Could you post a track? The aircraft can very well be a little bit bouncy if you are to rough at the controls.
  11. It's a bug, dunno when it will be back.
  12. Because of starforce.. hey.. wasn't that what the whole discussion was about? :smartass: You installed UPlay and you think that you weren't hurt by DRM? Oh wait, you were, explain to me why it's ok to have to log in to a single player experience of a game that you licensed? The use of excessive DRM on software is an awful business practice. Please don't call other miss-informed, or pirates just because they want to use the software they licensed without the need for constant internet connectivity or stupid installation restrictions. Most game developers know that DRM is a bad thing. And the effects are mostly negligible or you will lose sales because of it. I don't buy obtrusive DRM protected games, DCS is an exception, where there a choice and ED had competition which offered the same type of product line but without digital right management taken to the extreme then I would most likely stop buying DCS products until a sane replacement to starforce DRM is used.
  13. I've been reading Nostradamus and he has predicted thursday. [or we are all going to get eaten by wolves, the judge is out on this one]
  14. 5'6 is very small.. :music_whistling:
  15. I am pretty sure he meant 1.2.3.
  16. And there are several accounts of world war 2 airplanes flying home with major components missing from battle damage. I don't see how people find this so unlikely in a sim where we probably have more flight hours than most of these aircraft have had and allways fly unrealisticly unsafe.
  17. I voted last option, been working in software for too long to know that nothing goes as planned.
  18. Well, most people seems to have voted for after 25/04. So I guess that's it.
  19. All of the above.
  20. The fans in my computer is clogging up from all the money I inserted into the CD tray, why am I not flying this heliplane-thingy right now?!
  21. I did a quick look at this and lasing both IR and normal seems fine. Have not tried the mark command.
  22. Dunno about the instructor, I thought that was Wags all along. The reason for why the game is faster to install now is because you already have installed everything that doesn't have anything to do with the plane per say in your world installation. When you install a module you now only install the aircraft and nothing else.
