For me, simhaptic is very impressive in both DCS and in civilian sim.

Even on my AMD 6900XT 16Gb perform very well in DCS. In my HP G2, I can get average 60fps in most of time. AMD 7900XT has more memory 24Gb and 10-15% faster than my 6900XT. Personally I would choose 7900XT ove 4070ti. However, if you also have msfs2020, then 4070ti is better choice.

Have anyone notice that in case 3 recovery.. don't hear a word from Jester. With constant keeping time, altitude and doing maths in marshall stack. Jester is sorely needed to remind me time remain to get into commencing. He is only waken up and commented number of wires when I landed

Tanker callout 280kts at 24000ft. It was from the default F16 mission, i just added the F4e. My F4e is fully loaded 2x ext tank, aim7 & aim9. I think you are right... mine was too heavy and slow.. I have to constant adjust throttle and as well as stick pitching up/down I will increase the tanker speed and lighten up the f4.

At present, I have pimax 8kx with lighthouse.. might interest in getting crystal with lighthouse faceplate. Regarding lighthouse tracking... let assume that one day your lighthouse base station is dead.. Does the crystal light still work by revert back to inside out tracking instantly without the need to takeout the lighthouse faceplate ? or the need install firmware version for inside tracking that need ?.

I was frustrated and confused that Jester call did not match that of the lights on the tanker. But after watching 104th_maverick on youtube. That Jester callout are more accurate, there is a few second lagged in the tanker light. From now on I will concentrate more on Jester callout. Hopefull I can get at least 50% full before Reflect Campaign for the Phantom ii released.

I see that you using PimaxXR v0.4.4 Perhap try different earlier version of PimaxXR. I remember sometimes I do get black screen on my Pimax 8kx.. going back to earlier version .. from memoy v0.2.x .. always worked.

Has anyone able to get full tank using either rhino or ffbeast ffb stick?. Came from tomcat, which I am able to get full tank every single time with my diy 24nm( 10kg max deflection). with relative ease without even bother to trim properly or swept the wing into bomb mode. For the F4 phantom, for the past two weeks.. for the life on me, I cannot stay connected even for 30s. It is so frustrated. Admitely my diy ffb stick (made mainly of scap metal) is no where nearly as precise as rhino/ffbeast. I cannot understand why it is so much harder in the F4-e phantom. Dont know whether it is me or my crappy ffb stick.

Sure, I would love paid $59 early access. Who wouldn't?. However, I can understand why the price set as it is. From previous surveys. heli users only a fraction of those modern jets. I think number of units kiowa sold will be 1/3 phantom ii. They have to make worthwhile for their time and resources

ffb works fine in my diy directx too.

Textures/Animations looks fine to me. Little bit suprised how stable it is. However, it is ideal to explore beautiful nordic countries in kola map.

It happened to me first time with the Phatom, after getting a call you getting fuel from operator... less than 1 minute tanker call "transfer complete". I thought to myself.. "that easy". ... Only when Jester asked about the fuel situation, I realised how little fuel there is. Without something to aim for as in refuel F14.. Unable to see the light on the tanker, it is just too dim. Don't think I can flying blinded for several minutes to stay connected. At the monent, I hold on long enough to able to fuel back to base.

Even in daylight, cockpit is dark and worn out. Make it very hard to see in cockpit Just turn on the flash light.. That way you can see the direction where you head look at and able to read white letter, Much better than any texture mod ,

Thanks for info. I thought the iceman is not yet implemented. Actually, I prefer to able to control from WSO instead relies on Iceman in the tomcat.

I shared your frustration, like you I spent north of 1700. I think, I am going to stop spending or at least slow down All this frustration is not good for my BP.

For me on HPG2.. TAA is clearer than MSAAx4 and 6 fps faster than MSAAx4 I got arround 58 fps for TAA vs 52 fps MSAAx4. Also quite a pleasant surprised that TAA as good or better in reduce shimmering

Apache, lesser extend Mi24 used to be resource hog.. Few years ago, I remembered getting in the low 30s. But now, DCS multi-thread and VR utils like quad-view and OptiScaler (DLSS for AMD card). I can get even max 72fps for Pico4 and 60fps for HPG2 in Apache/Mi24. My hardware AMD 5800x3D, 6900XT Overclock.

on HPG2 setting 60hz ... In apache, Kemi Tornio... on runway 55fps (CPU-limited) and surround town 56-60ps (GPU-limited), mountain areas full 60fps (capped at 60hz). Performance-wise on par with other maps... Quite pleased with the map so far.

Mixed reviews so far, not as I have hoped. However, eventually I will end up buying the map anyway. I am going buying now, cheaper .. get more time to play it.

I see. I have no problem with 90hz.. although mine kept at 60hz. Fortunately, for me.. there is little difference 60/72/90hz.
