I find that having a peek at some of the details of the development process makes you appreciate the time it takes to put these modules together. What Matt does with the F-18C is great! Little by little the systems are coming to life and the insight of what has to be considered to bring the most realistic performance humbles me and helps my patience. Perhaps the same approach can be done for this module? :dunno:
I say we're overdue for some very outstanding news. Aside from the F-18C being released what else has there been this year? :pilotfly:
EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot the release of 2.5 and the Persian Gulf map also. Ok I guess I want the community to remind me what I left out. :)
Glad you got it resolved Dburne and sorry I could not respond in a timely fashion. Sounds like we're on the same track though to building new rigs before the end of the year.
Will the Yorktown be as detailed to the level that is planned for the Nimitz class carrier that ED has planned? Such as working elevators, interior hanger bays, animated ship systems, and the ability to walk around inside the ships?
Perhaps I should have mentioned from the above list instead of the plane itself. I know there is mission data to be loaded before flight, but what feature value would be added as far as the sim that we don't already have within the ME?
2.5.2.20601 Update 9 to 2.5.3.21016
Anyone notice this jump? Is there something significant inbound going from .2 to .3? Usually there is something significant introduced. :dunno:
EDIT: You beat me to it MWD2
^^^^ This, again!
I'm going to be quoting Beamscanner a lot in this thread....Though the Devs are probably only going to look at the actual poll results rather than our comments.
The existing AA radar is improving and will continue to. Personally I would love to see the ground radar come to life in parallel with the AA radar improvements. What ever makes it next will be great. Bring it all on!
As the trend has been going lately, it is time for the OB to be updated if there is an update today.
Don't be surprised if there isn't one. There could always be problems with the build thus pushing a scheduled release out.
It seems that slammers and harpoons can use GPS (pre-programmed coordinates) to acquire and destroy targets without the aid of a Tpod or A/G radar. I still would love to see the A/G radar technology be implemented ASAP if possible though.
If you are referring to a bug in the Harrier remember again the Harrier is in early access. You may argue that it's in a stable release, but this issue is localized to the Harrier only if I am correct.
So what if the updates we get have bugs. That's the nature of software development and bugs will always arise if ED is continuing to bring us new features and improvement, which I am grateful for. The bugs are not show stoppers so relax and understand that these things take time resolve.
Although very true, but these features were a big to do. I'm sure they would have been mentioned if they were ready. If any in the community sees the changes for the F-18C, that Matt mentioned in the update, I would like to know. :)
