  1. I see new OB is available, but none of the new features Matt mentioned made it to the change log for the F-18C. I guess it will be towards the end of the month before they are released...
  2. Nice sneak pass from ED on bringing this out a couple of days after the Wednesday OB. I'm sure this radial engine model will serve well in developing other modules like the P-47 Thunderbolt.
  3. Ok I see where you are going with that. Perhaps that link with a little verbiage would have helped frame what you meant. :)
  4. I'm sure ED has it under control. They have good resources and SME's to take it on.
  5. It will continue to be tweaked for some time.
  6. :music_whistling::music_whistling: Thanks for the response Sith. Loving the updates we have been getting thus far.
  7. Couldn't agree with this more! Expectations are set for some sort of update for every Wednesday. Correct me if I am wrong...
  8. Even better explanation. Thanks Kayos!
  9. Refer to Eldur example of the coding structure for the joystick and throttle .diff.lua files
  10. My crash log for OB, instant action, F-18C, Case I recovery, Caucasus map. dcs.log-20180720-020557.zip
  11. I feel yah bud. Mine is already there! Would be nice if you could setup DCS terrains on different hard/drives and folder down the road to split the growing size.
  12. First of all, I want to thank you, abelian! It is a great find! Your solution is almost perfect. A small addition is that device numbers after 37 also changed, they moved up by 1, i.e. RWR number of 54 changed to 53. I can't tell right now which commands are affected besides HOTAS. Module is in extensive development and such things could happen. I want to apologize, this particular case is my omission. Will give this a try later this evening. Always good to see constructive input from the community! EDIT: Fix worked fine. Only problem for me now the dreaded CTD. I'm sure it's unrelated to this fix though. Thanks abelian!
  13. Agreed! I wonder with graphics and sounds removed what kind of box will be needed. I'm sure a connection with good upload is a must?
  14. While it's your personal preference I am sure you are in a small minority, in this community, when it comes to purchasing the Viper.
  15. SD I'll leave this Whole-Earth system, plan from ED Facebook post here for you bud...
  16. Couldn't agree more! In this case I can get behind this business plan of a better short term gain to better secure financial backing for the DCS series going forward. It's a win-win!
  17. I have no problem with the Viper coming before the Phantom. You can look at it you will be appreciated either way, instead of damned of you do damned if you don't. They are all wanted by the community so bring them on! Oh...I am ready for the ground radar also for the F-18! ;)
  18. You might be right. I just ASSUMED because of the WWII birds flying over.
  19. It will be good, although some consider this small, to add to the realism in the Normandy map. MOOOO!
  20. I couldn't agree more!! Even in it's current state the F-18 is still a blast!

True my friend, but there are other developers with projects that seem to be on the cusp of bringing something in the mean time.

If they're borrowing ground radar mapping then I would say that's a safe assumption. I agree with there being so much mean on the grill if you include the recent releases from ED and the upcoming F-14. Sooo much to digest and I am having a ball!!
