BIGNEWY = Dream Killer, but I agree with lowering expectations though. Then again it is the last Friday of the month! :) Then again how many "last Friday of the month" have we been through without a 2.5? :cry: Then again we are closing in on the end of the year! :thumbup: Then again we do have 2 more months left....:cry:

AH-1 was being worked on at one point, but went dark for over a year now I believe. Anyway it's too early for all this :P ,but I will agree there will be tears tomorrow from joy and/or sorrow. :D

Sounds like this is contributing to some of the 2.5 delay we are seeing as well with the upgrade to the Caucasus map. I do love the effort of bringing it in though. It would be nice to see what they have to say. Nice video. Gives a good overview. :thumbup:

Correct. 2.5 is the foundation for all new terrains under one executable going forward. Once 2.5 is released the flood gates will open, so to speak.

I really don't know who would have expected 2.5 to release this weekend. Frankly I don't expect it towards the end of next month, but it's really anyone's guess now. I agree on the dev diary also, but I am sure they don't want to dedicate the time to such a thing. Also it could throw expectations of a release time frame and that is something ED cares not to get into because they have been burned so many times.

Definitely sounds like the development of DCSW.

I don't think there will be a release of any DCSW update this weekend IMO.

Oh yeah. I have this CD sitting back in my closet along with some of their other titles. :)

They are developing with later builds that we don't have visibilty to and with that is it possible that the base code is being altered to allow usage of multiple cores in 2.5? Has there been a release of information on system support for the upcomming 2.5 release?

There are few to come to mind but not sure if they apply right now.

What's your confidence level for 2016 release Matt? Or should we just wait for weekend news on this? And thanks for popping in to at least give an idea of your workload. Much respect. :thumbup:
