You may be confusing FAC-A here slightly. Although DCS employs MQ-1s as such its really the job of a A-10, Marine aircraft or F-16s if they still do it. The idea is to have intimate control over the target area. A UAV just cant provide that SA when the pilot is in Las Vegas. What your talking about I believe would be SCAR control. Just an FYI. The laser time set to 10 is a standard for all laser brevity designations. 10 seconds is necessary for the laser seeker head to find and track the laser energy as it spills off the target. Longer than ten seconds and you risk having a LGB model (bang-bang) jinking too much in the air to make sure it gets to the laser and will fall short of the laser because it can bleed all its energy quickly. I have edited my sweet fx splitscreen notepad ++ to 0. saved the document. Reactivated it in JSGME and still I get a split screen? 63

Falcon thanks for the help. Now Im not the most computer savy guy on the planet but copy the Scroll key on the keyboard. I hit that and its on. I then go into NOTEPAD ++ and on the tab I right click and reload once ive erased my 0 and then typed it in again? Still no joy. 30

Hey guys, I just bought a new rig and I have a flurry of issues. One of them is TARS. My TS is set up and it and TARS are run as administrator. When I get into DCS my squadron mates cant hear me anymore. Ive uninstalled TS and TARS numerous times and I cant figure it out. Ive looked for similar threads but nothing is helping me out here. Hey! For whatever reason my view when entering the A-10C only is on a slant. That is the view is no longer centred on the HUD. Its looking towards the CMS panel as a center view. Thoughts? Thanks 63

Fixed. I was entering 18 characters and not 26. I was putting my order number in and not the serial key..... Go to the penalty box... spend two minutes and feel shame. thanks guys. 30

Thanks txmtb, But I am the administrator. And because I used a laptop before I deactivated all my modules in DCS World. I have gone the regedit way and there is only one line waiting to accept a serial key. Really nothing there to delete because Ive never used any of these modules on this computer before. Its brand new out of the box. 30

No Dice! this is not the message I get. Nor is it the issue. "The system requires the correct Serial Number of the application to perform this operation. The serial number entered is wrong or mistyped. Enter a valid Serial Number and Try again. This is what Im getting. There is no WAY!!!! they are wrong or mis typed at this point. 63
