  1. BIGNEWY thanks. I have already been able to download all my modules. I can only play the SU25T and mustang cause its free of course. For example. When I want to play an A-10C mission I am prompted to enter the serial key for the A-10C. i do that for all my modules and it tells me every time I have the wrong key or typed it in wrong. Ticket has already been sent. 63
  2. Hey guys, Excuse me if I cant figure this out as I did read multiple threads and still no luck. So I bought a new computer. I downloaded all the modules into the new computer. I DEACTIVATED the modules in the old computer. I enter the serial keys of the modules in the new computer when prompted and then. Nothing. "serial key is wrong or incorrect" message. I am using the wright serials? Any help would be great. THanks 63
  3. That's a great question. I the real world target elevation data is important with artillery and CAS alike. I don't think its an issue with CA however cause your really doing a point and click on a map. I may be wrong here and someone else can chime in. I hope that helps. 63
  4. These examples are being revisited in the near future. To date the PI % and distances were created in white sands if Im not mistaken with scientific models that were in the prone position in full military kit and winter equipment for some odd reason. ( I imagine parka and pants). The PI % is the worse case scenario of taking the above solution and the weapon. So if you drop a GBU-12 with a PI of 0.1 at 170m's for example 1 out of 1000 men would be incapacitated for 5 mins. This is the worst case scenario. This does NOT mean that will happen. You might have 7 men hit with debris, shell fragments etc. IMHO all would walk away without a scratch. Its for the JTAC and ground force commander to discuss and the Ground Force Commander makes the call. Many weapons are being revisited because of the attack angles JDAM can bring in a weapon at and circular errors etc. Also of note in these tests. The two metal objects attached to the bomb that allows the bomb to hook up to the aircraft..... No one knows where they blow off to???? They are there somewhere. But hopefully your troops wont find out the hard way. Sorry its long winded. Enjoy 63
  5. Ive now come to the conclusion that this only happens to me and anyone of my squadron mates hosting. When I play with the 104th, ENOs servers etc it doesn't happen??? Still workin on it. 63
  6. Strange. My usually just begins to pitch up when flying straight and level, if Im in a dive (gun run) shell go down and if Im turning it goes hard into those turns and I rarely survive if im low!!! 63
  7. Thanks Blooze ill try that out. I cant see it being a mapping issue cause it only happens on these two servers and only to my aircraft. I cant see anything else being wrong that I do cause I use the auto start sequence so I can do other stuff in the cockpit. Ill try and do some tests this weekend and sort it out and Ill report back.   8. No way. This happens sometimes out of the blue or when turning off auto pilot and I have to yank the controls violently to get control back and only by pressing the take off trim button does the aircraft sort itself out.
  9. Yes I am sure. For some reason it only acts up with my sqn mates servers but no where else online or in single player. 30
  10. Gents, this issue escapes me. Only when playing online with a couple virtual sqn team members do I have an issue where every other minute the A-10 pitches up or sideways wildly and only by pressing the trim reset button do things sort themselves out for the next couple of minutes. When I play on anyone elses servers it never happens. This is all I know about the diagnosis. Its almost impossible to perform landing and gun runs. Any idea would be great. Thanks 63

  12. Real world its hard to see theough this. A popular technique is to cycle through white hot and black hot. Good woth tanks...... Not so mich with men. 63

  14. The technique is called buddy lase. To my understanding paveway II do the bang bang fall to laser and causes it to fall short. Thus a standard laser brevity is to call weapon away. At 10 seconds to impact call "10 seconds, laser on". Weapon impact "cease laser" I believe. Its the same for the ground lase however you then have to incorporate a laser cone around the friendlies so the weapon doesn't acquire the strongest part of the laser energy which would be the friendly position. 63
  15. This is a cool find! However the UN wants to revise it and the U.S. would let people know that. Then if there was such a conflict as we perform in DCS WORLD they would just show up anyways. Perhaps the conflict woudnt being in the black sea but the Aegean sea if that was the case. My two cents. 63
  16. A-10 pilot says "boots are on the ground, Im overhead". Alpha male F-18 pilot says " manpad threat, Im not taking off!" Weak Sauce. 63
  17. P*Funk, regardless of the air threat if boots are on the ground the A-10s are going in. From the mouths of A-10 pilots. Also, one pilot said he had a side arm and once shot down would join the front line. Of course tongue in cheek but these pilots are the alpha male of the aircraft community in my personal opinion. 63
  18. If you press the (') key you can usually see your progress in the mission. If its not 100% success my understanding is you wont progress to the next mission. If its not at 100% that means your mission goal has not been achieved yet. This may mean that ground forces have to reach their final destination, not all tgts have been destroyed etc. You don't have to land back at base to achieve 100%. There have been a couple missions if I remember that just staying airborne and eventually the mission 100% happened and im not sure why. Have a look at that (') (") key. 63
  19. Regarding the Canadian air to ground capability the F-18 does that job. 20mm, GBU-12, GBU-49 and really all classes of the MK-80 series bombs with some JDAM in the inventory. There are even AGMs in the inventory but there shelf life is soon coming to an end and wont be used at all. 63
  20. Im having a wicked hard time finding a 3 view of a C-130H. any ideas. When I begin to do the drawing and zoom in its just not precise looking as what else I can find out there and the C-130 in the game now is looking pretty amazing. 63
  21. JTACs don't always have to see the tgt. That's why Type 2s and 3s exist. If a unit is under fire from the north they just have to say that. Let the aircraft find tgts insteading of popping your head out of the dirt. FM doest have to be line of sight. Although best when that happens there have been more then enough occasions that this happens. Also, if you have other aircraft overhead that don't have the necessary munitions you can always radio relay to your attacking aircraft all the info he needs so that when he does check in overhead he gets straight to work.   22. Just to add, there are apps for the A-10C and iPad. You can monitor your MFCDs on the ipad while in flight. So this will give you the ability to observe your targeting pod, TAD, weapons systems and setting, CDU etc as well as other clickable items in the cockpit. Its very helpful and inexpensive seeing you've picked up a TMHOTAS. Enjoy A-10C. Now back to converting my BF3 buddies to DCS WORLD!!! 63
  23. Ok guys. Still have an issue. I have 1 great ref photo. It has top, side and front along with helpers, formers ribs whatever you want to call them. Now I grab the top, side and front and make them their own individual pics. After watching many videos the side Width is my TOPS Height. The lowest digits of width and height of the Side and Top become the Width and height for the FRONT. This works great. Now here is where I am failing. I keep my reference page that has the forms and ribs on (helpers) but I don't know at what digits I should size them regarding the TOP,SIDE and front. I hope this makes sense! Best. 63
