per page 59 of FC3 manual, where it talks about the WCS panel for su25t (the su25(a) section doesn't discuss the panel): The MER drops all weapons on a pylon at the same time. You can drop a single MER pylon with NO1, when you only have the 4 inner pylons remaining. i.e. is working in game as expected for su25(a)

ground refueling (getting crew to take fuel out rather) seems to do nothing other than play the sound indefinately. if I have a right engine fire and land, request repair and wait 3 mins...cosmetic damage is repaired. start left engine and wait for apu+left engine to start, then try to start right engine but it never gets past 29 on RPM. Happened multiple times. Bug or am I missing another step?

Hello all, Been away for a long time so I created simple mission with lots of ground targets to get back into things. Had lots of Client aircraft (a10a,su25,a10c,su25t,ka50,huey) last night was flying around in a su25 and the only other player was in a huey. I noticed that an a10a was flying around by the AI and thought...wtf? checked again that all aircraft were set to client in ME - they were. tonight, was flying in su25 again for some time, had a friend flying su25t and a random in huey. Huey person quit. I landed and got into su25t. Friend was in another su25t and crashed. Shortly after there was a su25a taxiing and taking off. When it took off, it had the name of my friend, even though my friend was starting up in a new su25t. The su25a was under AI control ?!?!? The mission has zero scripting...only running slmod for kick/ban griefers. Anyone else seen AI taking over client slots ? If not, will dig out the logs...

i just popped a gtx770 4GB into my sim PC and it's running loverly (1080p + 1360x768 screen for mfds).

Nevada seems to work, but looking very outdated :) I remember trying to get ground units to move (Combined Arms) in Nevada, which caused the game to crash.

any chance we can have it out before 6am this friday australian eastern standard time? doing my duty to visit parents for xmas, but they have no internet and i dont want a 2nd mortgage for downloading it over cellular network. thanks :)

People will start up their own server to: - have the mission start when their community is ready, i.e. play the whole mission - have players play in a coordinated manner - have their own rules that differ to yours - only play with people closish to themselves (rubber-banding wing mates playing from derkaderkastan detracts from my immerision) - guarantee someone is around to remove tk/td etc - communicate in common language simples

did todays DCS update on server dropped slmod 6.2 non-servman in (for first time) on server set password for admin registration to say 'foo' in config.lua started server joined server from client pc from client i entered '-reg' from client i entered 'foo' i note that 'foo' is displayed in clear on client and server chats no serveradmins.lua has been created --- banning and unbanning from server works fine though :)

Mission = OpKano3 1.2.2 updated 15Nov2012 Had about 6 clients in it (mix of f15c/a10c). A sound file was being played..all clients dumped, server fine. Ive had this happen before in other missions, when ogg files are being played, clients are dumped..server is fine. In one instance, the red player client was fine..only blue player clients dumped and sure enough, the ogg file being played was only to blue coalition (when i looked in the mission editor)

put a password on your server ;) flame suit is on it tells you the ucid each time a client connect now doesn't it (in chat window of server at least)..so you might have to be a little pro-active checking it each time someone joins.

Just tested DoctorStrops logic with 'continous' triggers...and "it worked on my machine" The Shilka was set to 'Excellent' Flew over in a mig29s..and it shot at me

+ a million I would also like to see ED put an extra box on the server list screen, where server admins can list the server rules. Only has to download that info when a client single clicks on the server name in server list (rather than retrieve that info for every server on server list refresh). This way clients know what is expected of them instead of: - clients having to read rules on server hosts webpage (if they have one) - having servman broadast rules AFTER the client has already joined - requiring server hosts to edit each mission to have server rules There's plenty of wasted space on the MP server list screen to implement this, even when viewing it on my 1366x768 netbook. -
unfortunately my track is a bees d1ck over 5mb, so can't post it here. subsequent attempts to re-produce error, have resulted in correct landings on deck (probably due to landing smoother with practice??)

tried my first ever su33 carrier landing. crashed 1st attempt. landed 2nd attempt (according to text), but the aircraft ended up inside the carrier model sitting on the ocean, then gradually drifted back on surface of the sea as the carrier moved on. old problem, new? will post track when i figure out how to cut the fluff out.

are you suggesting one can create a dedicated server using a DCS World account with zero DCS purchases associated to it? as for my test, yes dedi and client are in my house, same external IP. So that means i could have a family of 8 or more people playing MP a10c off single licence/account, so long as its from the same internet connection?

i always had a second copy of a10c which i bought with 2nd account, to host dedi server...because i thought u needed a seperate licence. but i fired up an internet dedi server just now with my primary account (that has all dcs/fc3 modules), with a mission that has a10c and combined arms slots. I put the dedi computer user into the Redfor Ground commander role i joined from client PC using same account, and i was able to fly the a10c and jump to ground commander (blufor) also so we had 2 chokkos in game both using combined arms, using single combined arms licence via (obviously) single account.

i'm a little surprised everyone (server hosters) are finding out about this file for the first time...but does make me stop and think how accurate my settings are. Until now i had simply bumped up the adsl settings by factor of 4, i.e. (adsl.." blah", 4096*kBit , 1024*kBit) My current modem connection is: 18471 Kbps, up 1571 Kbps So should i be doing something more like: (adsl.." blah", 18000*kBit , 1500*kBit) ? ta -
nice idea. people might also be on 3g/4g networks..working away from home, on bases, living in a log cabin in the mountains etc too

thankyou. Will aircraft in FC3 have an axis (or two) for wheel brake? Would be nice to be able to bind it in game (not use saitek s/w etc) and not be purely on or off.

i haven't touched FC2 in about a year so i have two questions. 1) To play FC2, i need: Lockon + FC1 + FC2 To play FC3, i need: DCSWorld(free) + Lockon + FC3 2) Also, when i installed FC2 just before it said i had 0 activations remaining. Aren't these supposed to replenish over time?

was trying something similar other day. changing config file to ensure mp client comes up with LAN in dropdown. doing direct IP connect, and got connection interupted everytime...fail. to add insult, if i was able to change the dropdown to Internet..joined the server, then exited, then selected LAN from dropdown, i could then do a direct IP connect as soon as i exited mp client, direct ip wont work again until i connected to game server via internet page.
