they'll still want clients to check-in with master server to ensure its a legit copy of software being used. the dedicated server will need to check-in with master server to advertise its presence to everyone else. what i would like to know is: will the people who setup a 2nd account to provide dedicated servers up to now, which required a 2nd purchase of a10c etc, be able to swap that a10c licence for a dedicated server licence (assuming the dedi server s/w will be pay-ware) ?

thanks for your help, and pointing out the 'all' weapons feature. I setup a first trigger (once:no event) to detect the weapon impact in zone. then made 2nd trigger (once:on destroy) to perform the necessary action when it sees the flag set from trigger 1. This combination never seemed to work. I wanted to use 'on destroy', to reduce the amount of times it is executing. If i make the second trigger as (once:no event), then it works. I imagine this is due to when a weapon destroys a target in the zone...the 1st trigger takes a little while to complete all its processing, whilst the 2nd trigger (on destroy) executed somewhat quicker and never saw the flag change that should have been done by trigger 1? No big deal, just getting my head around how the the processing/timing works ! :)

what would be a recommended way to check for baseraping (well, killing people warming up on the ground) ? the "units_killed_by" function tells us something of interest has occured, but doesn't confirm which unit actually died (unless we have a trigger for every combination of Blue aircraft killing Red aircraft)..and we need to knwo which died in order to do further checks that it was on the ground at airport etc. the simplest (slightly tedious) way i can think of, is to use the "weapon impact in zone" function, referring to tight trigger zone(s) around where the aircraft spawn. Just tedious having to specify every possible weapon fired...

hello have been using servman3 and slmod 6.1 hosting missions ok (i think) trying to use slmod in mission editor for the 1st time. so i've created a trigger ONCE(no event)->TIME MORE(5)->DO SCRIPT(slmod.msg_out("hi there",10)) Which doesn't execute in game. I note a lot of these error messages in DCS.log: 0100.949 ERROR Lua::Config: Call error server.on_process:[string "./Scripts/net/Slmodv6_1/SlmodMain.lua"]:96: attempt to call global 'update_clients' (a nil value) stack traceback: [C]: in function 'update_clients' [string "./Scripts/net/Slmodv6_1/SlmodMain.lua"]:96: in function 'slmod_do_on_process' [string "./Scripts/net/Slmodv6_1/SlmodMain.lua"]:219: in function <[string "./Scripts/net/Slmodv6_1/SlmodM What might i have wrong? cheers

ditto i originally thought deleting those network files fixed it, but think it was a coincidence that the master server was working again. everytime i try and start my server PC, and it gets this master server list problem ...my client PC also has the same problem. When i can finally connect with one of the PCs...both are working. might go play diablo3 if their master server is working...

ah ffs, i just renamed those two files, didnt delete them. deleteting them worked now i just have to get my mum off the phone... ta

so is this going on right now ? was happily hosting Seperists Aggression Day1 last night on server and playing it on a client PC. come home after a sh1tty day at work wanting to do some DCS...and both the server and the client machine both crash when retrieving Master Server list. Client was initially set to LAN and screen came up ok, the instant I changed it to Internet, it died. (appcrash, the msvcr100.dll etc) will dig the log files out...

my priority is using servman first, then only using missions compatible with it. so slmod working with servman is desirable. only thing that doesn't seem to work with Servman at the moment is the displaying of messages (i.e. announcements). kicking/banning works nicely

a10s shoot me down in su25t with ease and my mavH had no problem hitting a su25t on the tarmac :)

i just saw that. ejects, is in seat and looks ok. when he seperates from seat he goes orange (looks like crash test dummy) then about 2 seconds later he regained his texture before going splat.

Hello Wanted to confirm what happened last sunday when dude spawning in Blufor a10c got TK'd by an AI Blufor Vulcan (were no other people on Blue side at the time). I was playing Red in Su25t. I got the track file from the dedi server to play on my pit machine. I could see no objects from either side on the map, nor F2/F7 etc to any objects...even 1/2hr into the track file. Quitting out of the track, the log table/gui showed the events that had been occuring (X fired Y at Z etc). So i opened up the track file from same session, that was recorded on the pit PC, and played it on the pit PC. I could only view Red objects. Is that the intention, that you can only view objects from the side you were playing on in track files (and therefore view nothing if track is from dedi server) ? thanks

I dont expect Nevada to be free. I have already paid for Nevada (in my case, twice). I would like what i paid for, whether that is the old or new nevada - so long as it works in DCS World (as that's the route we have to go down now)...I don't care. Never got a promise of getting Halflife2 episode 3 free on any of my Orange Boxes. Halflife3 i would consider a seperate product from Halflife2 episode 3. In the absence of any delivered product to date, Nevada is Nevada.

where are people demanding everything for free, or expecting Nevada to be given away ? It has already been paid for by the a10c pre-orderers.
