Was the F-4 a capable fighter in the Vietnam War?

I was going to say the same thing. The gun didn't change anything because 1. it didn't have self-leading sights. 2. the gun did not hold very much ammo. 3. the mig could get inside the F-4's turn almost every time. 4. the pilots were not trained very well on how to dogfight.

Guys, it's not cheating it's just making it easier for players just starting up to not have to do all the math and finding monuments and all that, it simply just takes off the load. if you don't agree with this then don't use it.

TBH I agree that doesn't look quite right. And I hope that's not the real-life position because that would suck in VR.

It would also be great if the troops on the ground would communicate with you during close air support to make it more realistic. Also, it would be great if there was AI atc for Private/Custom missions.

In real life, the F-4 Phantom is going to get smacked by migs if the pilot isn't very good.
