When creating a mission I select the dynamic cargo option and internal cargoes (only boxes- for some reason no fuel drums) are available. I also place a howitzer nearby so that I sling load it. However, to start the sling process I need to hover above it and the F6 tab should appear. I only have F5 and F7. F6 all cargoes is missing. What should I do in my mission creation to enable a howitzer to release the red smoke and become ready for loading by the sling???

Point 1 - latest attempt did manage to shut it down - however rotors still rotating slowly for about 3-4 minutes - perhaps that is normal.

At low speeds with Bob ON, once I take over from Bob, I immediately enter vortex ring state and boom.

Thanks- I have already deleted the metshader2 and fxo files but the recommended settings for the graphics have done the needed - the CH-47 is butter smooth and no CTDs. I imagine this would improve performance for any module. Perhaps this could be a way to solve the low FPS others have been experiencing. The settings as they were - were never touched by me since I first acquired DCS years ago. Perhaps my vintage 2021 gaming laptop is getting a bit old. dcs.log

1. I am not able to shut it down. 2. Is it correct to taxi with ground rotor setting or should I be in flight setting. 3. At some point the powered swivel wheel loses authority. 4. Enabling hoist and hook but the comm menu is missing F6 (all cargo)which would enable me to theoretically enable the cargo for pick up. Does a howitzer for example need to assigned as cargo? Does having troops in the bay not allow me to take on a sling load? 5. Troops once disembarked near to other enemy troops just hang and no one attacks each other. (this is not a CH-47 issue but general) Troops are very close to the enemy guys. My Ch-47 is getting peppered with bullets.

Out of places like camp bastion far in the fields and mountains - FPS is very smooth. especially on my vintage 2021 gaming lap top

Bob takes over and does level flight at about 50kn. Is there a way to direct Bob to do stuff like in the Apache where George changes heading altitude speed etc?

Reading other parts of the forum, would my inability to translate to fast forward motion be related to the basic trim? How is basic trim enabled?

Will try Bob. Meanwhile I just want to transition from hover to fast forward but I can’t get it to advance more than about 50 kn.

I can't get to go beyond 40-50 kn and the aircraft is swinging all over the sky like a hammock, unable to get it to fly straight. Now I am not sure if this is my skill issue, or it is due to the computer not being able to keep up with the aircraft's dynamics. dcs.log

Mine slows down to a CTD in every case.

It slows to a halt while zooming around and looking at the panels. it slows to a halt if the external view is selected. The crash is only released using task manager and force closing DCS. Sometimes it produces the black screen of death as well. The crash seems consistent. LastMissionTrack.trk

How IS the intercom turned on?

Waiting for the CH-47 has prompted me to look a bit elsewhere till it comes, so I have gotten the Mirage F1 on trial and it has been so much fun trying to learn to fly it and do combat in it. I may just purchase it, to soften the lack of the CH-47. I am creating little missions over the endless Afghani mountains and it’s so much fun downing them MiGs with those mighty SS530s. Waiting for the CH-47 like a downed pilot waits for his CH-47 rescue.

Guys, I have made key bindings on the F1CE and now want to use these bindings on the F1EE. I have renamed the F1CE bindings to F1EE, why can I just not load the F1EE (renamed) profile? That option is greyed out. Is my only option to remap and save everything in the Mirage F1EE to a new profile? I wanted to avoid the hustle. I know this is not limited to the Mirage, it is a DCS thing.
