I have requested for a refund for my RAZBAM product, however if my request is subsequently denied, please inform me.

Reading the various posts, it seems that probably the June 26th release date will be extended. Is it clear, when the new release date would be?
-
I have been notified by the DCS application that the F15se is not usable anymore and it also generated an anti virus message. So for now I have disabled it as a module. I am not going to request a refund at this stage, as I still believe that some solution will be attained in the future.

@SOLIDKREATE I think that in flying the CH - 47 you will experience a much more stable helicopter flight than traditional helicopters that have a tail rotor. The big counter rotating rotors and the absence of the tail rotor make it much easier I think.

Count me in

I tried using the keyboard S which is by default the AAR key. Even with it pressed long time the lock is not achieved. In the warthog the mavericks would auto lock when in range. Not so here.
-
My settings as the OP My mavericks won’t lock and won’t fire no matter what.
-
For me the mavs just won’t do the auto lock thing. But it may be the 30 min violation.

In a merged dogfight, we were my wing-man and I against two enemy F-4Es, and after locking on to an enemy F-4E, I launched a AIM-7M on to him, but the missile struck and destroyed my wing-man instead. My wing-man’s F-4E and the two enemy F-4Es were all flying in the same patch of sky near to each other. I would like to know what I have done wrong in terms of bad IFF practices. Appreciate all insights.

Thought so, thanks.

Is there a way to check the Phantom, what version it is?
-
I have read about the new update and its impressive list of points. Is there a fixed date for it?
-
For me it has to be dropping many mk82s on parked cargo planes doing a fast and low pass without any bombing table calculation whatsoever and hitting the targets.
-
Just pre ordered the CH - 47. I hope all goes well with the release and it comes in a reasonable time frame.

Well, I think that ED will incorporate some type of troop or materials transport capabilities so that missions can be made. All this, while avoid enemy fire will make it much more enjoyable. In Xplane it’s purely flight without the ‘mission’ character.

Understanding CAGE-only with Sparrows
Migparts replied to wasserschorle's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Yes - this actually works, but the target must be quite stately like a big cargo plane. If it is a small agile manoeuvring fighter the sparrow will miss. -
Is my own radar locking my Sparrows after launch?
Migparts replied to SmoglessPanic's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
I believe I am wrong here I am referring to the sparrows on the F-4E but this section of the forum is for the F-14. So that is why I can’t find the command. As for Jester, I need to get us relatively near and pointing at the bandit for him to be able to achieve the radar lock -

I don’t- so I will bind a button. Many thanks! -
The F-4E has finally arrived. I am so happy about it and have never let it go all during the weekend. The F-4E is one of my favourite aircraft along with the A-7 and Mig-21. Flying the F-4E requires a lot of skill piloting it and not getting into bad situations as it will behave as a falling brick if you do. The weapons need to be on target and close enough. Jester helps, but the command wheel isn’t so easy to use, when you are at the tail of a bandit and he will tell you that, but won’t do the lock on. The systems can be complicated but there is none of that complex electronic wizardry of the F-15SE, F-16 etc. Here, the effort of good piloting low altitude flying and abrupt evasive reactions are rewarded with not getting killed. Of course, I am still learning and maybe there is a way to lock on without Jester’’s help. Using the sidewinders is somewhat easier, but again you must be on the six of the enemy and the enemy must not be very evasive. Overall A/A reminds me of my Mig 21 air battles, although with the F-4E you are in a larger and somewhat more capable aircraft. With regards to A/G, I am still learning and my main shortcoming is not understanding when to use the trigger button or the jettison button. Although I fuzed my bombs and dropped them on target using the bombing table by informing Jester, his input isn’t apparent and they did not detonate. Perhaps because they were jettisoned instead of released as weapons? Not sure about that. Still learning. Landing is challenging, but once you learn to utilise the delta wing AoA braking, it is quite doable. Lots of fun, coming back to base alive. The other good thing is that the aircraft’s heritage and the available colourful liveries, enable one to create many many hypothetical and even historical missions to try and complete and learn by doing so. Thanks to HB this module will keep me busy for a long time.

Is my own radar locking my Sparrows after launch?
Migparts replied to SmoglessPanic's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
I tried yes it can but it’s a longer press of the trigger. Without locking on, if you are not near enough to the bad guy, the results are literally ‘hit and miss’, but I did hit. -

Can a aim7 be fired without the assistance of jester? I find it hard to manipulate the jester command wheel and ask him to lock by the time I do all that the target is gone. -
How can one select the custom helmets ? All I get is the white.
-
I managed my first A to A kill in a dogfight against an enemy F-4E, by using the sparrow missile with lock on from Jester. Team work with Jester is the way to not die.
