  1. Yes, it has released. For me it CTDs only
  2. How IS the intercom turned on?
  3. Waiting for the CH-47 has prompted me to look a bit elsewhere till it comes, so I have gotten the Mirage F1 on trial and it has been so much fun trying to learn to fly it and do combat in it. I may just purchase it, to soften the lack of the CH-47. I am creating little missions over the endless Afghani mountains and it’s so much fun downing them MiGs with those mighty SS530s. Waiting for the CH-47 like a downed pilot waits for his CH-47 rescue.
  4. Guys, I have made key bindings on the F1CE and now want to use these bindings on the F1EE. I have renamed the F1CE bindings to F1EE, why can I just not load the F1EE (renamed) profile? That option is greyed out. Is my only option to remap and save everything in the Mirage F1EE to a new profile? I wanted to avoid the hustle. I know this is not limited to the Mirage, it is a DCS thing.
  5. Basically, I just want to shoot down bad guys, with aggression and style
  6. Excited less and less nowadays that slowly I have come to realise this won’t be released anytime soon.
  7. Apparently there is a version to buy at around $14 does that mean it is simple and not in depth? is there a high fidelity version being developed? is it worth getting the low fidelity version??
  8. Same here, I don't get bored with DCS though, but I get bored when I can't do proper helicopter landings in fields and smash the helicopter up.
  9. Thank you Sir for the photos. I appreciate the opportunity to admire the real machine and the situations in Afghanistan from a person who’s been there and done that.
  10. Hope this would be THE weekend
  11. The brutality of the huge double rotor machine carrying troops and supplies to where its needed. The loud sounds. The joy of actually piloting such an improbable airborne banana. !
  12. After installing Afghanistan, I became a bit low on memory, so I uninstalled Syria and PG and Normandy to recover some memory- however Normandy won’t go. It is still there. I tried the repair build and clean up but the map is still there. I do not want to go picking out files in windows. Various WW2 aircraft modules were also able to be removed. Just the Normandy map persists. Any ideas?
  13. I didn’t think so. Somehow FCR won’t pick them up. They’re probably too small.
  14. Does the presence of door gunners not inhibit troop embarkation and disembarkation?
  15. I am wondering if troop insertions and recovery can be done using the CH-47F. Would one need to build the mission using the “ embark to transport “ advanced waypoint commands? I have never been able to make that work in the Huey.
  16. Why? I am also called George, so don't blame me for this
  17. Wishing for early August as well - as I am getting time off work then.
  18. I would like to add my photos over Afghanistan, using my vintage old 2021 laptop. Overall I am impressed - it is a vast area and - at least for me - its the closest I will ever get to visiting Afghanistan.
  19. Yes, I just let him ask and don’t answer.
  20. Best thing is to keep on with life and one day all will come. I will refrain from checking for updates and news. I think ED is facing some issues to deal with, let,s let them deal with it, I am sure one day all will be good.
  21. Released today??
  22. Wow, some people are scheduling their off work leaves, based on the release dates of modules. I didn’t think that this kind of thing happens but it seems it does. Happy 4th of July to all American friends.
  23. I may use the time to learn to fly the I-16. Bought it last week, but never bothered because I was expecting the Chinook. Maybe now is a good time to get to know that tiny little Soviet fighter.
