  1. @Eight Ball is there a working link for these liveries ?? Anyone else got them ?
  2. Brilliant - really appreciated - one thing I noted this week while trying to test the static model of the westland (not tried the other) is that on all the carriers in dcs - ie the invincible / hermes & queen eliz by t-pap and the invincible that comes as an asset in dcs - the aircraft don't actually show up on deck - don't appear to be "in" the models either - not sure if thats due to a change in dcs since they was released. All I am doing is linking them to the carriers callsign (so i might be doing something wrong)? fairly new to dcs and mission making. The AI flyable ones work fine. Any plans for updated sea kings ?? unless of course there's an updated version that wasn't in the 0.5 release link i managed to find ? re the static model issue.
  3. joined - this is simply an awesome project ! wish i had the technical modding skills to be able to help.
  4. Hi are these liveries available somewhere to download or i can give you access to my dropbox if you can send them to me? @Eight Ball @crazyeddie are you guys planning on any further updates to the westland sea king ?? Maybe the mk7 radar version and updates to the engine intakes as per the later versions ?? can we get perhaps a new single download available with all the liveries in including all the UK variants you did @crazyeddie ??
  5. link at all ? I searched for eightball and couldn't find anything
  6. I did actually send them a message suggesting they took the boeing yoke but made the yoke piece you hold interchangeable for different aircraft (like they do with racing sims these days) - so you could have a lancaster, or b17 or vulcan or b52 or dakota or c-130 etc. Re the 8 lever set - yeah i was pondering if i could get close with the honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant - there's a firm that makes replaceable throttle handles and i also suggested to them they do a lancaster style - but the ones that come with it are pretty good. It can do a 4 engine jet - not really designed for 4 engine prop.
  7. The seacat.edm file in shapes is breaking the seacat launchers on the leander class models that come with dcs - also on hermes i believe. Picture shows whats happening. After doing several tests I found simply deleting the secat.edm file from the shapes subfolder for illustrious and invincible fixed the issue.
  8. is this still available for download ? its not available on any of the links referenced in this thread Andy
  9. genuinely thinking of buying the thrustmaster boeing yoke just to fly this when it comes out.
  10. So i get that ED didn't cause this issue - however it does highlight a limitation of your release/ patching process. You should be able to do hot fixes for issues such as this. Even if if comes with a large caveat of limited testing - although if people do have issues it would be better to discover them with the hot fix rather than after the main release and then have to go round the loop again. So I think ED need to take away from this there needs to be ability to release a hot fix. Secondly have ED been in contact with Meta to explain the issue o.63 has caused - and tell them just how many customers of meta are very unhappy ? They too need to tighten their release process - and i would love to know if this issue was actually a documented change that was coming which ED simply haven't prioritised - it was in the beta release of 0.63 - so again perhaps ED need to factor in testing meta (and other head set manufacturers) into their engineering / development process to pick this up sooner. link ?
  11. so i don't get any option to actually fly it - can't get in the cockpit - is that because i don't have the su-33 aircraft ? this is latest 2.9 dcs
  12. this doesn't work for me. Been doing a lot of fiddling and got a ticket open with support. But from what i can see it appears the monocule is being drawn too high in the quest 3 display. I'll try and add a screen shot - I can see some additional graphic in the bottom of the headset - which maybe a facemask or something. I took a video using the quest video recording option - now whats interesting about that is its showing alot more above my field of view from the headset and it makes the monucule look more centered. Note if i turn the monocule off and use the head up display without the monucule graphics - this still is too high on screen. It defintiely appears to be an issue in game - flying other dcs aircraft all look fine.
