  1. Preordered. So much new content. Can. Not. Wait. I hope the livestream tomorrow is on Youtube for those of us who can't make it to the live bit!
  2. 46" 1080P TV. Hoping DCS World 2 will run better at 4k, then I'll upgrade.
  3. True enough. I just prefer the most exacting models we can get, it's what brought me to DCS. An Osprey would be the bees knees! Also, I COMPLETELY second a Blackhawk!
  4. As much as I'd like to see a D model Longbow, I prefer they stick to airframes that aren't classified and can be as realistic as possible. LOVE to see an earlier apache though, a cobra, or a KA-52!
  5. Great vid and race!
  6. I stopped caring about this post after I got to this. How old are you? As a 15 year testing vet, things do not happen overnight. They'll be addressed in due time.
  7. This. I don't bother with FD. Every time I go to maneuver, whether it be combat or a simple change of heading, I hold in the trim button on my flight stick. Once the maneuver ends and the aircraft is pointed where you want it, release trimmer.
  8. I updated last night, and it removed all of my modules. It was tedious, but I was able to reinstall them all through the Manager.
  9. I won't have time for this, but I would DEFINITELY watch this on youtube! Great idea!
  10. I look forward to logging some more flight hours. I will feel truly accomplished when I can fly around smoothly. Need to learn the finer points of trimming this thing and definitely improve the pedal work.
  11. Hey all! Long time BS pilot here. I picked up the Huey after reading about how it wasn't too bad to fly but a monster to land. I'm a rotorhead so I bought it and off I went.... And my experience was the complete opposite of what I've read lol :pilotfly: Take off into a hover, not so bad. The MOMENT I tried to fly anywhere, all hell breaks loose. First it demanded left pedal, then somehow I had to hold half right pedal... Tipping the nose down made it shake like mad and it didn't want to just fly straight at all. Did some creative funneling/spinning amazingness.... And then yanked it into a rock-steady hover 10 feet above the runway, and touched down perfect. This one is gonna take some time... :joystick: :joystick:

    Trees

With DCS World being the central hub for all the modules, can we hope for collidable trees anytime ever?
  13. Yea, no serial listed on the DL page anymore. Just for BS2/P51 :noexpression:
  14. I'll download a new browser I guess and give it a whirl. Hoping my registry keeps everything updated. I've tried the 'add a 1' trick', doesn't seem to apply to me. :)
  15. Downloading the file, my PC thinks it's an MP3?? I also just purchased P51 on sale and am noticing that my account no longer shows that I've bought BS1 or A10 (both installed and running for a long time), and only shows BS2/P51. Any other ideas? I was hoping to uninstall to save some HDD space, but don't wanna have to buy again...
  16. Scenery yes, aircraft absolutely not! I'd want all aircraft fidelity DCS quality, and not A10 physics attached to another plane...
  17. Too bad. I've noticed in BS2 alot of stuff is harder to read. I have everything on Max but when switching the radio to Ground Crew, for example, if I didnt already know that label was GC I'd never find it. Alot of text appears blurry now. :/
  18. I didnt get that at all. Being worked on at the same time does not mean they will be completed at the same time. I imagine with the fidelity involved, DCS Jet will take quite a bit longer...
  19. Is there a step by step on this? I had this exact same problem, and all the axis for my X52 and pedals are borked on BS2. I searched for the lua (i think it was?) and couldnt find anything. I'd love to copy over a file and have it work again, as i've been unable to get it to work since I bought BS2 :(
  20. I'd joke atcha, but I've done the EXACT same thing :joystick: :)
  21. Apologies Nate. I was referring to the well-documented issues where the AI will say 'Negative' and not attack targets that are clearly in range/attackable. They fly recklessly forward and get shot down instead of hanging back when they do attack, directly flying over the targets. Most missions I run I dont even bother giving orders to, as they just sit on my wing and say 'Negative' to every attempt at a command. I've had them fly off into nowhere when telling them to RTB as well. Just generally useless.
  22. Wingmen, so they are actually useful.
  23. Nice! Fry's here in Seattle still at 499 :(
  24. I agree with this. I thought about multi-mon and then just got a deal on a 60hz 46" toshiba. Works AMAZING.
