  1. I'm digging up the topic. Golden shovel. Is there any chance of the pilot returning to the cockpit? It's been so long since the introduction of the new helicopter model, and the cockpit is still empty.
  2. You need to delete all old OH-6A related folders located in C:\Users\...\Saved Games\DCS\ mods (aircraft, tech) and scripts. Now you install new version 1.51 (or just add 1.51 fix for version 1.50). Finally you add skins as I wrote in my previous post.
  3. I did some more searching and I think this will be what you are looking for for the German Mi-24. top: FS 34255/FS 34094 bottom: FS 35450
  4. I found it in some manual, maybe it will help you. green: version D - FS 34128 version V - FS 16165 gray - FS 36595 brown - FS 23448 light blue/gray: version D - FS 35414 version V - FS 16473
  5. Yes. It could have been like that. The paint scheme I showed was in Pruszcz Gdański, near the sea. The paint scheme you showed was in Inowrocław, they had the Mi-24W version. Instead of grey it was sand (yellow-green?) and olive-green. The bottom was also light blue (I used Humbrol 65 paint when making the model). Here is a graphic with both paintings. On top is Pruszcz Gdański, below is Inowrocław. Both paint schemes were based on original Russian patterns. ps. If you look closely, you can actually see the yellow color coming out from under our camouflage on the 156 helicopter.
  6. They were painted the same as our helicopters: light grey - olive green - blue (bottom). Here is one of them And here another one, had badly applied paint that quickly rubbed off and the German camouflage started to show and after some time even the markings and side number were visible. That's why I know they were painted in the same colors. It wasn't the same, it was like in Inowrocław
  7. The regiment I served in received several Mi-24D helicopters from the former DDR. I plan to make some skins from that period in a three-color scheme someday.
  8. After adding the OH-6A in the ...mods/aircraft folder, I had to create a liveries folder and add all the skins there. C:\Users\...\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft\OH-6A\Liveries\OH-6A I have no problems displaying the skins.
  9. I found some free time and played around too. For me it looks like this . Long series: Medium series: Short series: It is a bit different from the instructions and dividing the number of rockets into equal salvos.
  10. In my career of 28 years, I have only encountered damage to the rear support once. Interestingly, it was on an Mi-2 during a "hard" landing. It never happened on an Mi-24.
  11. In the "Training Methodology Part II - Armament" for the Mi-24 it is written about the switch: "Варианты стрельбы" "ПО 16 - ПО 32 - ПО 64". I had a problem that the salvo was too short and I couldn't fire one big one. I had to switch the AZS several times until it finally clicked and worked. I'll take a look at it out of curiosity.
  12. These are the shadows after disabling the armor plates. You have it on one of the templates layers. There you can remove them. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/texture_templates/filter/aircraft-is-mi-8mtv2/apply/
  13. Yes, the rear support is sprung.
  14. You really didn't find any bigger problems than the second hand? You should be happy that someone wanted to make a Poljot on your hand that you don't look at 99.99% of the time. One of the many things that need to be fixed is, for example, the frequency tuning light in the R-828 radio, which should go out, but stays on until you release the button.
  15. Cause found. Trivial matter. In the settings the "easy comms" box was checked.
  16. Only memories remain. Aerobatic Team - 49th Combat Helikoptera Regiment
  17. It's funny that apart from prototype copies, no other item was produced in CCCP. I'm very curious how "Michałek" would work on the server. Which version would be most often used?
  18. LOL. A pipe dream. I would like the Mi-2 to appear in DCS, but I am a realist. I think that's enough now as it's gone off-topic.
  19. I wish you success in fighting armored weapons. No armor, no speed, range of 9M14 is 3 km, guided manually. Mi-2 is only suitable for training missions on the range.
  20. I keep writing about the Mi-2. The Mi-24 is still quite a good helicopter, provided you use it wisely. Proven tactics: hit and run. In DCS I encountered AA operations on the Mi-24 for the first time. Congratulations on shooting down the enemy.
  21. The only role he is suitable for is flight training and liaison duties, provided there is no enemy in the area.
  22. Please give me a sensible example of what role the Mi-2 would be good at in DCS. I think only as a fun-copter. For me personally, that would be enough. But is that an argument to add it to the game?
  23. It seems to me that An-12 would be a better equivalent of the C-130. Both planes have similar characteristics. IL-76 could be a response to C-17. I doubt that we would ever get any of these aircraft. As for the Mi-2. Unfortunately, it is "blind" just like the Mi-24. The electronics of the avionics of western competitors eliminates them from the modern battlefield. Hence, Mi-2 would not work in DCS. Unfortunately.
  24. It's a shame that no one noticed one very striking thing. This contest is biased. It primarily promotes equipment made in the USA, especially jets. I've seen many better shots in this thread that deserve at least a mention and there was no American equipment there. Congratulations to the winners.
