  1. Thanks guys. Perfect information, particularly the howcast video. Really broke it down for me perfect! Nothing like learning on the job while dropping bombs!
  2. Cool, very simple... lol. One thing, the frequency says 141.25 but I couldn't raise him up. I went into the editor and set frequency to 131 and he came up after that. It didn't look like there was a frequency assignment.
  3. Been asked a lot before, when to properly use it. I got that part. Use it to steer on the ground, when an engine is out, heavy cross-wind landings, and turning. My problem is, how do I use the yaw to complement the turn properly? I find I try to use it but either over or under use it and don't know the proper situations when it would provide a benefit and maximize my energy. I understand a small adjustment to keep your elevation solid during a normal slow bank, what I am looking at more specifically is high stress maneuvering. I seem to be able to get tighter turns on occasion without losing as much energy but the reasoning seems to allude me. :joystick: Is there a video or a simple way to train the when, WHY, and how. Maybe a video demonstration on the turns and explaining what yaw you are putting on the craft and such and what it is in particular doing for you in the turn.

  5. Does anyone have a good profile for TIR also. I keep having troubles with the edges. It tends to tweak out when I make an effort to look at the radios, etc and will invert on me. Anyone configured some good limits or anything like that that makes it a bit more solid?
  6. Had to change mine because I needed those F commands. Doesn't matter what, just something easy to reach and not otherwise used.

  9. I totally agree that we need menu's in game to adjust a setting or control. Totally bogus to have to quit the game to make a simple adjustment.

  12. Speed, same problem. Doesn't seem to give me the control, I have tried to check map only and it still shows all friendlies. I have the enemies hidden by actually hiding each enemy in the editor. I have saved and verified that the settings were correct and saved. There may be a bug of a sort in there.
  13. What is the secret. I've tried .jpg and .png files to get them to show up in my briefings. Doesn't seem to work, no pictures shows up. Is there any tricks or file size or pixel size limits?
  14. Is this possible? I check map options as enforce external views and leave the box on the right to uncheck which I assume means that you enforce them not being able to use them. But I launch the multiplayer mission and sure enough, anyone can use F7 to ID and view the enemy targets. What am I doing wrong?
  15. Those thesis papers have nothing to do with evading missiles in the air. It's about mathematical theory and development of computerized defense systems. It's useless to a pilot. Thanks for posting them in an authoritative manner, gave me a decent giggle.
