As DCS also allows to use modifiers for axes you might bind the brake with a modifier to an axis. If you use the STEM with S-TECS there is a hidden axis under the white 3-way switch on the left. It can be assigned to an axis as JOY_RZ.

100% agree. Much more training lessons would be helpful for a bloody rookie like me who never flew any aircraft as a pilot. It would also be helpful to have a repeat function (or at least skipable steps) in case you want to repeat difficult trainings over and over.

I know the "Wags" videos. It's a great ressource. However I have a hard time hovering this beast slowly and controlled at low altitudes <10ft and low speed <5kts or flying precisely through a ground parcour. Without constant monitoring and cyclic corrections It tries to escape quite quickly and build up catastrophic speed vectors, even using AT or AL force trim. I guess I'm not used to helicopter flight dynamics yet. Landing buttery and smooth on a tiny spot is what I am currently training. Atm it seems to me AT force trim is the only way for precise hoover and point landing.

Sure, I'm just lazy and thought there might be a setup option for this, also for other setup options. Currently I try to manage the flight dynamics for a maximum weight loaded AH-64. Seems like riding a rodeo horse I just wanted to shorten the time between subsequent crashes and restarts.

Follow up question: is there any way to set MMA to NORM by default when the mission starts ?

Ah ok, got it. Must be equipped beforee in missions editor and then powered up during take off preparation. Works now. Thanks !

I am sorry, but I cannot find a rearm menu. I tried WPN/Util pages (see attced screen shots) but could not find where to activate the FCR. The manual (FCR page 340ff.) wasn't helpful either.null

When clicking on the FCR button next to the MFDs I get the message "FCR not installed", for pilot and copilot. How can I enable the FCR?

How can I move Saved Games\DCS to another drive ?

I suggest to increase the SSD size to 4TB (or larger). DCS is very memory hungry.

Did you open the folder \Saved Games\missions\campaign\en within the DCS Campaigns/My Missions menu? You should see your campaign folders at least. Campaigns also must contain a .cmp campaign file. If it only contains .miz files it will only displayed as missions.

DCS might not be the worst preparation for this ...

Good points. I love flying DCS. But as we see IRL in near east or Ukraine etc. I guess the future of airforce IRL will be huge numbers of low cost unmanned fighter drones anyway. It allows missions where you cannot send human pilots anymore and use much higher numbers of drones.

I would also love to fly a double/triplane in dogfight in a WW I scenario like @EnriquePBArt has announced (see below). I hope we can use DCS WWII maps for this.

I've just tested it. Moving user campaigns to \Saved Games\missions\campaign will show campaigns under "My Campaigns". Moving them to \DCS World\Mods\aircraft\<aircraft name>\Missions\Campaigns shows them after selection of the aircraft in campaigns. So both should work.

At least we see exactly the same, so there's probably nothing wrong with your setup. May be HeatBlur can support.

Again, I guess only HeatBlur can provide the required infos how to export DSCG, MFDs. We are just poking in the dark.

As we are all getting the same results on different systems I guess the F-4E modul simply does not support MFD export (yet ?). I suppose sending a support request to HeatBlur would be the best approach.

I just modified my init_bake.lua as mentioned in your text and got this (see attached). The MFCD is not useable and I also can't modify intensity, contrast or anything else.
