A 2TB M2 SSD is about 100€ - that's just peanuts compared to the cost of a gaming PC. I've got DCS with all maps and modules (see my signature) + MSFS 2024 + Win11 + tools etc. on my 2TB SSD with still about 850GB free space Ieft. I really don't care much about the size of maps, modules or assets but more about their qualtiy.

Sorry if this question sounds stupid, but how do I execute a file script from mission editor?

I just ran into this issue too. It would be a nice feature if snap view settings would just be saveable out of the simulation with key bindings.

Update: Even completely disabled Win11 firewall didn't change anything - still no connection to 127.0.0.1. I'm out ot of any ideas now.

Hier im deutchsprachigen Forum müsste doch eigentlich genügend Detail- und Ortskenntnis vorhanden sein, um Ugra da in irgendeiner Form unterstützen zu können. Vielleicht wäre es sinnvoll alle Verbesserungsvorschläge in englisch in die Wishlist zu packen.

The "problem" with missing axes was just due to the auto recognition feature in DCS (and MSFS 2024). Due to the very high resolution of these sliders you have to turn and turn quite a bit until DCS auto recognizes them. But you can also select them manually in the controls assign panel. Just set them manually in the controls axis assign submenu. However, if you want to assign them as analogue axis in DCS you have to switch them to analogue axis mode before with TB flight hangar app. Default mode is digital buttons.

I just ran a standard F-4E Heatblur training mission F-4E_TR_Caucasus_02_PILOT_TAXI.miz before but it also applies with all other missions like F-16C Trainings too. I think it's not due to any issue in DCS but rather an issue with my Win11 firewall settings.

I guess so because the rest of DCS (and other games using this directory) are working fine. I was just struggeling about the error message text.

OpenKneeboard works. I checked DCS.log and dcs-web-viewer-api-4.lua is definetivly found and executed. However, I found several error logs like this: ERROR LuaHooks (Main): [string "C:\Users\werne\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\Hooks\dcs-web-viewer-api-4.lua"]:38: attempt to index local 'queryString' (a nil value) What seems strange to me is as due to my german Win11 installation there is no directory named "Saved Games". It's named "Gespeicherte Spiele"

Checked that already. I also tested with 60sec delay script version but no success. I guess it's due to 127.0.0.1 being blocked on my machine but I did not found yet where.

Tried an incognito tab with Chrome - still the same. I guess it's somewhere in the firewall settings but I already disabled/enabled all browsers - still the same. Atm I don't know where to look any further.

I also have Chrome installed and tried it with Chrome, but same result (Firefox and Edge does not work too).

Sorry, I missed your response. The browser refused 127.0.0.1/health webside connection with "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". I already checked firewall settings but my browser (Opera) is enabled.

Ich habe mein System (siehe Signatur) erst im November 2024 zusammengestellt. Ich nutze es allerdings nicht "nur" für's Gaming, sondern auch für die Arbeit. Da bin ich auf 100%ge Kompatibilität und Performance mit allen gängigen Win11 Apps angewiesen. Obwohl AMD in einigen Benchmarks zwar noch das ein oder andere Prozent Performance raus kitzelt, bin ich mit der Kombi Intel CPU + NVIDIA GCU da lieber auf der sicheren Seite. Ich habe auch nicht die Zeit und Ahnung, um mich bei evtl. Kompatibilitätsproblemen durch die Untiefen der Hardwareoptimierung zu graben.

Well, I'm still happy with my 4070TiS and I don't but those hardcore simmers who always want the ultimate performance will want to upgrade to a 50xx graphic card now and sell their "old" GCU hardware.

Ist wahrscheinlich alles Meckern auf hohem Niveau, aber vielleicht kann die deutsche DCS Community ja auch mit dem Vor-Ort-Detailwissen in irgendeiner Form unterstützen.

Da stellt sich dann natürlich auch die Frage, wie realistisch die übrigen DCS Karten Syrien, Afghanistan, Nevada, Kaukasus, Marianas etc. sind.

Vielleicht gibt es ja die Möglichkeit Karten mit eigenen 3D-Modellen zu patchen? Nur so ein Gedanke.

As many simmers are actually looking towards a 50xx GCU upgrade there might be some good classified deals available.

I still don't know how yet although it must be feasable somehow, as some MFDs are displayed partially opaque.

Man sollte dabei auch immer bedenken, dass die Karte ja den Zustand der 70er/80er abbilden soll. Evtl. sah es damals ganz anders aus.
