yea like element said, nothing is set in stone. You never know what could happen in a software industry (i.e unplanned setbacks, bugs). If you fix something it might break something else or if one of your guys gets sick and the project is delayed. Lots of variables so the 9 months is just a general estimate. Believe me, nothing would make ED happier to get their products out the door and into the market. But they have to make us happy with well-polished products so patience is a virtue in this case.

the avionics compartment can be seen when you open your canopy.

The meinit file simply adds a couple more skin slots, this model already aligns with the weapons.

Mod request for 3GO Su-27
SuperKungFu replied to SuperKungFu's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Very nice AB shaggy btw, I read some people didn't like the yellow tint for the cockpit window. Well you can change it and its not 3d model related. You can find the texture in the 3go-su-27.cdds file, the 2 bmp textures are: SU-27-GLASS SU-27-GLASS-BLOOD Just simply change that yellow part into the same color below and you will have no yellow tint. But my texture was done in a rush job so I'll wait until someone with a bit more skills to do this Oh and one request to Shaggy, is it possible you can upgrade the Russian Knight old style skin to have this gradient effect at the bottom of the aircraft? -
lol and happy 1 year bday to this thread happy 30 Torwak!

Mod request for 3GO Su-27
SuperKungFu replied to SuperKungFu's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I manually installed Shaggy's modman package because I was a bit afraid that the meinit would replace rather than add the line necessary for the skin to show up. I was wondering if you could update this package a little and make the Russian Knight old style skin reflect the same as the original Russian Knights skin where the number is on the tail rather than the nose. -

YEAAAA now that's what I'm talking about shaggy! Thanks! looking forward to the download link -
Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some help reworking some textures for the recent Su-27 mod by 3GO. The 3GO group has already done enough so I hope the community can show some support since my photoshop skills are lousy. Anyway this is what I’ve been thinking: 1.) Some of you guys noticed that in some angles the numbers and star on the plane seem to fade. Like this: And that’s because if you look at the alpha channels for the two files associated with the numbering files: Su-27_NOMERA.tga SU-27-NOMERA-RED.tga (which can be found in the 3GO-su27-tga.cdds file in Bazar\World folder, extract using modman) It’s not very clean, if a person can clean this up to look something like this: (picture taken from Deadman’s nomera file, that would look great on this Su-27) 2.) Afterburners texture I do admit the afterburner textures could be improved. If you used modman and extract these files within 3GO-Su-27.cdds: Su-27-Engine2.bmp Su-27-Engine21.bmp Su-27-Engine23.bmp … Su-27-Engine26.bmp You can see how it transitions, but during the mod work you only need the first file: Su-27-engine2.bmp since it’s the original state and gradually add more afterburner textures. I was hoping it can reflect something that looks like this: Or this from an old mod 3.) And finally a small personal request from me, the Old Su-27 Russian Knights skin The original skin made by EricJ for the old Su-27 can be found on lockonfiles http://www.lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=198&lid=1164&ttitle=Su-27_Russian_Knights_Early#dldetails Hopefully some photoshop master can accept these request. Cheers!

Happy Bday man! Hope you have a good one!

Well the manual way of installing it is harder. Modman is very simple.

Boeing unveils the "stealthy" F-15 Silent Eagle
SuperKungFu replied to EvilBivol-1's topic in Military and Aviation
I think this is just a cheap solution instead of buying a whole mess of F-22, you just have one of your most capable fighters (F-15) get upgraded to the "SE" version and call it a day. One question, can a regular F-15E be upgraded to the SE version or does it require to be built from scratch? -

wow very interesting! Thanks for sharing! I can't believe they actually built one. Seems kinda like a cheap solution when they first announced it. I thought it was just a design that would never get off the drawing boards. More pics here: http://www.flightglobal.com/airspace/photos/f-15se/default.aspx -
awesome work, one question, do you plan to release everything in one pack so it contains all the planes or are you going for an individual release like Su-27 first, su-33....etc
