Was anyone here at the Edwards Air Force Show last Saturday at 10/17/09? If not, here's a few pics in case you missed out: I left at 2:45 AM...got there around 6 AM before the gates were opened, had some fun with this B-52 Got in....sometimes being "too early" is a bad thing...I had to walk 1.5 mile to the base because the shuttle buses weren't in service yet Well enough talking, here's the rest of the pics: Me in front of the 747 wearing an Eagle Dynamics Shirt :)

I checked my storage, I actually have a Saitek X-36F stick and X-36T throttle. If i remember correctly, mine worked perfectly in Lock On running win xp. But since then i upgraded to the X-52. I think the only fault with my old X-36 was that the wire between the throttle and the stick was a bit "jumpy"- i guess that wire has been damaged because the signals would spike if i move around the wire. I could possibly sell that to you for like $5 + whatever shipping method you want. PM me if you are interested- you can probably use it and harvest it for parts to revive your current one

The voting doesn't end until oct 24 but I just found out you can vote more than once. According to the rules, you can vote for one per e-mail address, per day. So if you have multiple e-mails, you can vote multiple times a day lol. So fire away gentleman! I would be funny to see an entire e-mail box that screams entry#2!

I don't know about you guys....but when this thing get's released, first thing I'm going to do is eject out of my A-10, and use the pilot to walk inside this C-17 :P

My best advice, learn every aspect of Black Shark first. Once you learn everything about Black Shark, and i do mean EVERYTHING, then the A-10 will be released lol

that's how the software industry works...if you announce something too early, people whine/complain too much and ask "will it be released yet?" Remember how bad it got when ED didn't meet the deadline for the FC release? We figure if we don't announce anything, people complain less :D What people don't know won't hurt them haha. I'm j/k of course, I don't speak on behalf of ED but this is generally how the software industry operates.

I believe I saw that same video a while back, it was just a mod. Same terrain, just the textures were different.

I'm sorry but you can't compare you "mod" to a full-realism product. Building a 3d model and texture is one thing, but ED commits countless hours goes into research, data configuration, making sure the realism level is up to Black Shark Standards, Single player and multiplayer compatibility, distribution....etc. The list goes on and on. They only have about 2 dozen people on the actual dev team. It's easy to criticize but when you are in the same situation it's different....believe me.

I think more importantly it was trying to get some of the data and old messages that was left on the old forum/site. If we moved to a new place, much of the data will be lost. I'm not sure if this site would do just that though.

actually it wasn't, we just ran out of money to support the site =X lol We set up the site with google ads to provide some of the income but when we got enough money, they took it all away because they said our site was "fake" or something. Probably because of the hundreds of spam we got. So the site closed down, but some of the members continue their work right here on ED's forum hidden away from public view.

Are you guys referring to ESP as Extrasensory Perception? Then yes I would agree with Vortex here, we have to see in the future to know this. But chances are ED will probably print a manual once DCS A-10 comes out. Just like they have done with Black Shark, and Flaming Cliffs before that.

It's just a place where people who want to sell their flight simulator gear to other members on the forum meet and make the transaction here. Under the description of the sub-forum it will say: Buy, sell or trade flight simulator gear here. Eagle.ru will not be held responsible for business transacted through this forum! You can create a sticky thread called ebay: anyone want to post their ebay listing can do so there. Or if anyone doesn't want ebay to take a % out of their sale, they can simply post a thread and see if anyone is interested in what they have to offer.

I'm assuming you are flying the western aircraft: A-10 and F-15, firing weapons is enter, space is guns Russian planes space is both weapons and guns.
