  1. lol nice, at first glance I was amazed but if you look at it again the cards on the top doesn't reflect any at the bottom. Smart I saw this guy at the MGM hotel show
  2. Or you can simply just view the training videos by downloading them http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=50&lang=en and plenty more can be found at http://www.flankertraining.com/ironhand/
  3. happy bday! Cheers to the guy that brought one of the greatest mod to lock on.
  4. what kind of info to want about the A-10C? an A-10A module might be planned later, but the A-10C is first although the cockpit image looks like its a typical lock on cockpit, it is in fact a 3d cockpit with 6dof capability.
  5. HAPPY BDAY MAN! HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD ONE!!!!
  6. some people said if they had shadows set to full, you get this black cockpit when you are looking front.
  7. lol 1500 pics?! You have been busy. Awesome shots hoot! btw i know it would be a pain to upload every single pic, please use yousendit.com or any type of hosting file software and zip up the pictures you took around nellis base. To lighten the file size, i guess you don't need to include pictures of planes, just around the base itself. thanks in advance!
  8. wow that sounds pretty interesting. Sounds like something right out of a novel
  9. I believe we tried zmodelers a while back but it didn't work with walmis F-15 model (since he lost it). It's just a coincidence that that software coverts "lom" file but lock on's lom file is different. I believe it stands for lock on model.
  10. yea posting high res pictures on the forum my be a little inconvenient for both ends. I recommend going to http://www.yousendit.com and simply upload a zipped folder of some of the pics you have and post the link here.
  11. lol done!
  12. Unfortunately it would be ideal to have a person to have 3d max. I know that cuts down a lot of talented folks out there, but we need someone that could skillfully unwrap a model since that alone is an art form and be able to create a template from scratch.
  13. nice, take some nice photos for us out there h00t! If you have enough memory on your camera, try to take as many photos as you can on the structures there (hopefully from various angles so we can texture them accurately). Cheers mate.
  14. darn we would love to get a skilled uv unwrapper artist. But nice to know you have plenty of experience in 3d models zazz.
  15. yep that's strange Yeniceri, I logged out and try to view the pictures, but it appears as [x], when I click on it it gives me this I'm guessing 2 things 1.) Highway hosted those images on our ftp server or whatever and its not being linked? Try hosting on photobucket (if its not it already) 2.) We have to check the permission list for guest in the admin section
  16. lol i remember that model from the A-10 days haha, still always crack me up.
  17. man that sucks. I guess they had to do it since flight genre isn't really popular compared to first person shooters.
  18. Yea none of us do it for cash, we do it because we love the sim and continue want to bring the community great mods. But we hit a speed bump with the lack of texture artist. =/
  19. I can say that 3GO - Su-27 is still moving along nicely and so is Sim-mod's F-15
  20. Hey guys, I'm going to need the community's help on this one. Although many great pictures has already been posted above, there's only so much pictures you can find on the internet. I'm afraid we need some more from ground-level in order to texture the structures properly. Is anyone located on sight in Nellis or somewhere in the Nevada area that could get some high resolution photos of each building adjacent to the tarmac? We would really appreciate it!
  21. another problem with consoles is the lack of controls. If you look at the Ka-50 layout, we have a sh*t load of combo keys, ctrl, shift, alt...etc. So unless xbox can expand its keys function, PC is the best way to go. Economic factors also play into the equation, there's simply not enough market for a serious flight simulator game in the console world. Everyone wants to play those "shoot em up" types of games like Ace combat or HAWX. Only real men stick to simulators ;)
  22. Simmod seeks texture artist to work on Nellis Project and future projects. The Candidates must able to - Use 3dsmax 7 or 8 - Able to Unwrap a model - Must be frequently online - Give work updates at least every 2 days - Make a simple box looks like a building photograph! - Understand Team work mechanics. All Candidates must download the sample model here. The sample model must be unwrapped and textured until January 26th at the latest. Finished work must be compressed to rar or zip formats. File's name must be the candidates callsign and compressed file must contain, max file and texture. All finished files can be uploaded to any online file hosting service. The download address can be posted at this post or can be PM'ed to "Yeniceri" We are looking forward to work with you! Good luck to all.. So why would you want to sign up? Because you will be part of a great experience and leave your mark in the gaming industry. You can look back and say "hey I did that" while everyone enjoys playing something YOU created. Plus (my favorite) you get to play with all the new stuff before it gets released ;). So if you have the skills and time, please sign up. We judge how well your work is and you might be part of a great team. Good hunting!
  23. Something like this would require revamping the entire game engine. Right now the game is 32 bit, if you covert it to 360, well let's just say that's a major change. I don't think that's going to happen
  24. wow that flanker is BEAUTIFUL
