I heard from a pretty reliable source from NASA (who ranks pretty high up there) said the announcement regarding the extension of the Shuttle Program would come soon- we'll see if that's true or not. Otherwise America would have to literally buy tickets for our astronauts to get a ride from Russia or China...etc. Which I think would be pretty embarrassing so that is why they are talking about getting the shuttle a few more years of service.

I know the Space Shuttle is suppose to retire this year but I heard due to this cancellation, they will extend to space shuttle till 2020?

It would be cool if DCS had a story-line mission where you have to an experimental Russian Plane. I remember that back in Jane's USAF where you had to provide cover in the sky and ground until someone get's into the experimental plane (back then it was the Su-37 i think) and escort it to safety.

It seems to me...the general image of the T-50 PAK-FA might look very similar to this design.

In the aviation world...you will always find some planes from different countries that look like one another. For example: Tupolev Tu-160 and the Rockwell B-1B NASA X-29 and Sukhoi S-37 US Space Shuttle, Buran Space Shuttle C-5 and An-124 I won't be surprised if the PAK-FA resembles the F-22.

Yes I believe all the Sr-71s are retired. The USAF officially retired them back in 1998, and NASA was the last to own theirs and they retired a year later. Shame...it was a beautiful bird. That's why I bought a diecast model of it =)

zmodeler 2 does convert .lom file to .3ds files BUT it is not the same type of .lom file. The .lom file in lock on is for lock on models only.
