Ruggbutt has created this terrain to supplement the terrain that Grandsurf and Rocky put together called LockOn Reloaded. They created the summer terrain, Rugg "finished" the project (so to speak) and put together autumn, spring and winter terrain. He was given permission to use some of the textures from Reloaded to modify and include in his terrain pack. you know a lot of these questions you could ask in the Q & A instead of creating a new thread every time. And most of these questions you won't get an answer to because it will be revealed when its finalized.

As I have heard, this model and the other WIP model such as the MiG-29 or Su-27 by ED are all put on hold because they are not a priority model at this time.

lol don't be mean to the new guy. To tightmf, ED has enough on their plate as it is. They already listed the aircraft they planned to model. Please read the FAQ or do a search.

yea with his rig, he shouldn't be running on very high. Also, he wasn't suppose to install the 1.12B patch, since he has XP. He should be on the 1.12A patch, But this shouldn't really cause it to crash.

There's no reason why it crashes to desktop. Tell us your installation procedure.

LOL you and me both. However, in the history of aviation, a passenger was never asked to land a commercial plane because we always got the damn co-pilot lol.

Go to your trackir and disable the zoom.

Bottom line is, a lot of information is required just to make one aircraft. Since ED is also a russian-based company, it makes it even harder for them to access some western information like the F-15E. But then again, it is hard since some information is still classified. Heck some information on the F-14 is still classified. ED goes to great lengths just to gather information, they ask for manuals from different squadrons, they talk to real pilots of the plane or helicopter they are trying to model...etc. They would even want to know the exact position of a rivet on a plane, trust me, I've seen this. Now the planes Matt listed has a good amount of data to be modeled fairly accurate for a commercial product. No one has said ED won't continue after the list of aircraft is done. But they already have enough on their plate. When the information for an aircraft becomes declassified, it could probably be turn into a flyable aircraft in-game (but not anytime soon). So don't expect something really modern like the Eurofighter, or Rapter...etc. Again, I don't speak for ED.

wow...with that kind of attitude....I don't think ED would come running anytime soon. IMHO. Look, it requires a LOT of information to model one aircraft accurately. Its not all about just having one manual and everything is set. You have to start thinking logically about this. But since I'm not ED, i guess I would have to shut up.

One of my external Hard drives (western digitial My Book 500 gigs) recently failed on me. Every time I plug it in, i get some clicking noises and it shuts off (also known as the click of death). This external HD holds a lot of aviation data that I had collected over the years. If I take it to a professional recovery center, it would cost over $1000 just to recover the data. So....I was wondering do you guys know any methods of recovering the data. Basically, I don't care about the external HD itself, I know its lost, I can always get a new one I just need the data off that drive. Here's what I've tried so far: I know its not the power source or cable malfunctioning because I took it apart and connected it to my PC desktop which could also read SATA drives, but it did the same thing: 6 clicks and shuts off. I haven't tried putting the HD in a zipper bag and shoving it in the freezer to shrink and correct the pins inside the HD. But I'm aware of that method as well.

yea lock on has problems on full shadows, better leave it on the second highest settings. Plus he's not using the correct sim-mod meinit which would explain all the missiles not lining up (among other things such as skins and numbers) And he still didn't tell us his system specs. So we can't really help with the tree thing.

Check your view.lua file, open it up with notepad Its located in your C:\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Config\View folder Scroll down and these values should all be the same, look at your MiG-29 CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_27] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_33] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_25] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_39] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29K] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iA_10] = {20.0, 120.0} CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iF_15] = {20.0, 120.0} Its probably not 120. I had the same problem once, the MiG-29's max value was set to 12, I forgot to add a zero.

maybe you should post a screenshot and also your system specs. We can't help if we don't have any background info.

graphics wise, FF and OF was a lot better than AF. You really have to do a lot of research over at frugals, that's the main place to talk about falcon.
