Also, if you throw in only the runway textures in the temptexture folder, it would appear in all season. But the method listed above would be better since its in cdds = save fps. But the method i listed is less work.

DCS: Black Shark Producer's Note #7 Streaming Version Available
SuperKungFu replied to Wags's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
lol actually most beta testers are required to turn on labels so if we spot a bug, it would appear in the track. And it would be easier for the devs to know where everything is at when it happens. So no, Matt wasn't cheating ;) -
you do realize you as asking for something that is still a long way off. And I agree with the others, most likely no.

Instead of deleting the values which you may need in the future if you want it back, you could simple just change the true to false at the top for air, naval, and ground units. I believe this would work too AirOn = false GroundOn = false NavyOn = false WeaponOn = true

Is believe GA's next video would be Speed 2, which is not about black shark.

Depending on where you live, you could go down to a local store and feel out the joysticks. For example, I live in California, and I would go to Fry's electronics. they have the X-52, Ch products all lined up. The only one missing is the Cougar. The only store that I know of that sells it is CompUSA and that's going out of business.

Black Shark does offer an "acrade mode" which makes things a lot easier.

SuperKungFu replied to - Piloto da Morte -'s topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
lol guys, there could only be one meaning for what Matt just said. When he said done, it means Black Shark is ready to be released. We are still aiming for this year. -
it should be in your doc folder Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Doc

As Matt and the others have said, we are still aiming for a release this year. -

when its ready percent :D but seriously, software business is like this. Sometimes when you fix something, it breaks something else so its always a back and forth process. So you can't really place a percentage on it. Heck most in development games are technically 100% done, that's if you want to live with the bugs. -
Purchase Flaming Cliffs online without Credit Card?
SuperKungFu replied to Jenk's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Well where do you live, you could also get Lock On Gold at a store near you (again this depends where you live), it has FC. -
Actually linking to the visor to the canopy is not necessary a good idea. Its the most obvious choice yes, but not the best. Rather, it should be connected to the gears as an inverse command. For two reasons: 1.) if you link the visor to the canopy, when you eject or the canopy flies off, your visor would be open. And that doesn't make sense because if you're about the punch out, you don't want to expose your face to the high winds. 2.) connecting it to the gears would be a better choice. It would work inversely, so as the gears come up, the visor goes down. And this would make sense since he's ready for combat. And again, if the gears goes down, the visor comes up because the pilot want to see the runway. That's what I would do.

Any skinners outside of Sim-mod would have to wait just a bit longer. I believe rugg is working on the last part of the template: which is the left wing. Once we release that, I'm sure there would be lots of people who want to customize skins.

the delay is my fault, I pointed out a couple errors on the model and Borchi has been very patient with me to fix them. Its better to hear criticism from one person than 100 if he posts up another WIP screen. But nonetheless the model is coming together nicely. We're still a long way off from the release date but its still progress.

That's pretty cool, we should all show off some art works that we drew. I'm not much of an artist, but I drew this a while back. My pencil shadings suck, but it was good enough to get the cute girls to talk to me haha.

Yea its not all fun and games. You would have to spot a bug, know how to report it properly, provide tracks or screenshots. Find out how to reproduce it so the devs could find a way to fix it...etc. And above all, read the manual for the 100th time. But exactly what RedTiger said, most people want to beta test so they can get their hands on it earlier, but trust me that should not be the main reason because you will have to deal with an unfinished product (ie buggy). I do it because I really want to help out.

This would also depend on your price range A lot of people have Saitek X-52 I think its the best bang for the buck, the original one is less than 100 dollars and it has stick throttle and a twist rudder as pedals. Personally I didn't see the need to upgrade to the X-52 pro version since its price didn't really justify the improvements such as more metal constructions, better screen, lights...etc. Next which probably most people would recommend are CH products. This is in case you don't like the "arcadish, star-wars" look of the X-52. It looks fairly more accurate and it last very long. However, its usually sold individually like stick 100, throttle 100, pedals 100. Those are not the exact prices but its an estimate. So that's a hefty price. Third would be the all realistic look and feel which is the cougar joystick. I always wanted to get one of those, however, it doesn't have a pedal so you would have to buy that separately. And I heard you need to modify a bit to be really good. Of course, it works fine out of the box, but some people has complained it doesn't last long. I can't speak from experience on this.

I would also like to play around with some of these quick missions too. It would be great to replace some of the stock ones on the main screens with the "fly" button. So if anyone could package together some of their best and attach or upload it, that would be awesome.

lol well I'm the second, or actually third if you count the first post. Happy bday man! Hope you have a good one!
