I don't know if I would use the word biase, I just think it a shame they don't make some major improvements to these two aricraft they were good enough to initially put in there product. I know they've made some small ones early on. I just hate to see the states, and anyone one eles that consentraights on the 10 and 15 to stop buying the LO series. I just fear it's going to die here long before LOBS dies overall.

Well, unfortunatly rlogue, you are right. I had always planned on buying BS, but mainly for the inprovments and no so much for the KA-50. It looks kind of fun, but my interest always have, and will continue to be the A10 and F15.

I would pay for it too rlogue. I would certainly pay to have many fixes in the western aircraft. I would just hate to see the A10 and F15 get kicked to the dust.

Well I don't know what problems YOU had with it, but like LO, the majority of the buyers get along fine with it. I know I did when I flew it. I mean the support all around with it. Developer, community, everything. Well, maybe LO's code should be released then if that's what it takes. :D

Well, the main reason a sim dies is because it NOT supported. I'm not saying the LO isn't supported at all, but can't help but think that more support, more patches LO get's the more is stays alive and profitable. Just look at F4 if you need an example.

Absolutly Goya. This is what disheartens me too. If this was some little minor bug, I wouldn't be worried about it. But it's not. Personally, I would like to see ED spend some time on additional patches to fix some of these major bugs, and set the stage to bring in LOBS in the way it should be. This is my eyes, IS finacially feasable.

I would very much disagree with the last statement. For the one's like me that only fly the A10 and F15, it would not be a waste of time AFAIC. Maybe you ment: no payback dollar on the time spent. Huge difference there. I personally think two add-ons, and no major improvments to the a10 and F15 is an absolute shame for pilots like me that only fly LOFC, and only Western aircraft.

Man I hate to be critical, because I love LOFC and might buy LOBS. But why are the crumbs that we all wait for so centered around ground vehicle graphics? They look great. And if this was a tank sim, I would be more excited about it. But it's not. And I'm not. A question I have that will help me decide if I'm buying LOBS. 1. What improvements are being implemented from the current LOFC? The reason I ask this because I'm a fixed wing simmer. I love planes. So will there be a benefit in buying LOBS to improve LOFC. Example: Terrain, F-15 ground, F-15 radar improvments and fixes, Sounds, explossion improvements, optimized code, better ATC, improved AI? If any 3 of the above were included in LOBS, I would probably buy it just for that. Thanks everyone. Coffee

Well War IS depressing. Isn't it. :music_whistling: I like the movie and the music. It's different than most, and that's a good thing. One question though about the ground defenses. Do they always move and fire in unision. I'm assuming the ones that do move and fire together are part of one unit in the MP. Just doesn't look very good. No one could time it out that well. I would like to see the ground units look and move more natural.

I agree full heartedly with HedgeHog. Unless the code is going to optimized much better than it is now, why would anyone what to bogg it down farther? It's a sterile enviorment as it is now for everyone. I would love to see everything look better. Vehicals, trees, grass planes. Everything!!. But if things in 1.2 have to be MORE sterile to have acceptable frames, that would NOT be acceptable, for me anyway. PS. I also think that signs on the taxiways that show you the way to the end of your runway would be a GREAT addition to the simulation.

I don't blame any of the ones making BSO for getting frustraited. I think it all stems from broken missions because of a patch. TBone says it will be released after BS now. The think is BS is going to have patches to and Boom...there goes the current campaign you are trying to complete. Personally, with the fact that with every patch will probably break the campaign, I would be ok with it not coming out at this point. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it come out and have the oportunity to complete the campaign before a patch come out and brakes it, but I don't see that happening. I would ask ED to do what they can to make previous missions work after a new patch.

To be honest, I would like in the order of preferance: F-16 F/A-18 Then maybe the Harrier.

It must not be a Dual Core issue cause it happends to me too. I have a p4 3.6 HT. But like the previous caller said, don't do anything when the SF screen comes up. It appears to hang at 30% or so, but after a few minutes it WILL load the game. Still a problem I know, but it will load. be patiant till they fix it.

Go to Add and Remove programs. You should see 2 listings for Lockon. Choose 1.1, or 1.11 can't remember, then remove. It will ask you if you want to roll back or remove 1.1.

I would think since there is a 1.12a patch out, that when properly updated the main UI screen should say 1.12a. Mine still says 1.12.

Hey Cliff, we have simlar systems but I have a little faster processor. Love the system though. I don't expireance that kind of frame drop. You can always expect a little though. Look at the more popular Lockon sites for FPS mods that use MODMAN to execute. See ya Coffee

This is almost as bad as the RWR bug. Does anyone know what sensor is actually correct then? It will be most certainly back to 1.11 for me. This is too bad. I hope Ed takes this patch off the board and put it back into the testing process.

My wish would be that unlike FC, the new Ka-50 will have the option with a cockpit converted into English. Plus the option to be able to add the Ka-50 to what ever Country you want.
