Without renaming all the files you can also import the bindings in settings->input options and DCS will create new files with new GUIDs but using all the input changes imported from your saved files.

I agree, seeing these massive ships just pop-in at very short distance (looks to be around no more than 3km) looks just awful. Persian Gulf map has this set extremely well so Syrian map really needs this changed to match PG map. Otherwise Syrian map is great to me.

I understand that flying through the path of missile is extremely unlikely however this new effect would come in quite handy as an extra realism in DCS (which we all like) for when aircraft itself launches the missile. That is the time/point when missile thrust creates lot of turbulent air and the launching aircraft is flying right through it (obviously), most pronounced when missile is fired off the wing. So why not (if resources/time permitting) add this effect as well? EDIT: now after looking specifically for videos of cockpit view for aircraft launching missiles to see how much of an effect this would have, I came to realise its not that much at all, probably the weight loss from released weapon has more effect then missile plume itself... in which case you can ignore my "request"

Well, the purpose would be so that I don't have to edit the lua file every time DCS updates. Anyway, its no biggie, quick copy/paste after update still ok.

Since I am using 55" curved monitor now this coordinates tweak came in handy again I am using these values in order to center the comms menu no matter what the monitor resolution you have: "window:setBounds((screenWidth/2) - (menuWidth/2), (screenHeight/2) - (height/2), menuWidth, height)" ... hm... now I'd like to know if there is a way to make this change using autoexec.cfg file or not... and if so, if anyone knows, how do you do it?

At the moment there is around 3sec delay for the script to end the mission automatically once all of the a/c on either side are destroyed. Please increase this to either few minutes (1min at minimum) to give time any active radar missile already in the air launched from aircraft already destroyed, still heading for "you" (the player) so that you need to defend from it (or get hit by it) so that engagement outcome is more realistic. Or better, why not add an option for the mission generator script to not automatically end the mission and allow player to RTB if they wish to do so (sometimes I'd like to do that)?

I would really love if ED would would make proper former Yugoslav camo and markings, not just ability to add it under Yugoslavia as a country in mission coalitions, (for example the MiG-21Bis has it but it lacks numbering, it has roundels and tail flag only but no numbering). Right now you can chose Yugoslavia as a country but skin and markings are of USSR/Russia, not former Yugoslavia.

I agree, in MiG-29 the mirrors are very pixelated because the AA works only when MSAA is enabled (but then terrain and rest of the cockpit has shimmering due to lighting/shadows, also the HUD is very pixelated if anything other than MSAA is used. With DLAA terrain and shadows look much nicer, I see no shimmering at all there but then mirrors and HUD look pixelated as AA does not work on them. I hope this is fixed with full fidelity MiG-29A module. With Flanker this will obviously remain an issue as its same with the Fulcrum mirror/HUD issue.

I was looking for this also and just found how to do it following this post: First, enable User Snapview Saving in settings, then once in aircraft cockpit, set your FoV you want and save it pressing RALT+NUM0

I'd like an option higher than 1024 also, as I decided to drop getting VR headset with RTX5090 I have spare room for increase graphics quality and mirrors are good option. I was looking for a file to edit to add extra resolutions but I can't find it (don't know which file does it, if anyone from ED knows please let me know?).

Hi there, can I ask what base were you using this grip with? Was it by any chance TM Cougar base? If yes, can you tell me did all but 1 button work on it and if so, which button did not work? And if no, do you by any chance have TM Cougar to try it on to see which button will not work on it? I ask because I have this same grip which I bought back in 2017 but haven't used since few days ago and I have TM Cougar which is the base I am using this grip with and I have 3 of the buttons not working and I am in dilemma of deciding to pay for shipping to get it fixed (which is not cheap). Edit: Never mind, I sorted my issues by using board from TM Cougar and using it in MongoosT-50 grip, along with 3x 4-Way POV's from Cougar's, so now I have floor mounted 'Frankenstein HOTAS Stick' in literal sense, combination of 3 different products mixed with personal DIY but hey, it all work's perfectly now so I'm happy.

I'd like a MiG-29A squadron when I get back into online flying in DCS (been away for 9 years, now I'm slowly catching up, for now I stay offline only)

Its been many years since I posted on these forums (or been in DCS) but as I am now in process of setting up new gaming PC for DCS while awaiting the long desired MiG-29 module, tweaking and trying to remember how I had it all setup in terms of HOTAS etc, I actually had this problem of HOTAS Cougar being recognised by the system (I have Windows 11 Home installed now) and after trying many times installing and reinstalling the Cougar but it not being recognised by the system, I finally tried different USB port, and when I did that and plugged the Cougar into black USB port which is USB 2.0 it finally worked. The blue USB port which is USB 5G did not work with Cougar.

There is propaganda in it, there is also political agenda in it, you just don't see it. I didn't see it before, but now I do.

This is their primary intention, and make money in the process also. I didn't realise this before, but now I do... Top Gun and this one, and all other war movies, are actually mostly propaganda... which is why I stopped watching them.

I've been on these forums and DCS for little over a decade, only stopped being involved with both due to change in personal life that prevent me from continuing... but hopefully will get back into it again. I am very surprised to see this go, I saw no issue with it at all and it was for me very nice way for us, the community, to share our free will with the rest and naturally and democratically self-regulate ourselves, so to speak. I hope you bring it back, possibly make some adjustments to it so to try to prevent abuse, but I feel getting rid of it is more negative then positive. I feel personal expression is very important, even if sometimes sounding negative, if we lose that, we lose a lot.

That's normal, if you pay attention to center screen, it is tilted little bit upwards.

I am still using HOTAS Cougar also and its programmed in Foxy and I still like it, not too difficult to program but is very powerful at the same time. Still serving me well all these years.
