  1. HAHAHA! Good catch, now I notice pilots are not visible also (or are they hiding somewhere) :D
  2. I am pretty sure they can put any type of number they want (the 3D model defines what texture goes where and any texture can be used) so the developer can pick any numbers they want/need.
  3. I would definitely not say that VR helmet is better then full blown projection... far from it. Lets be honest here, the only good thing VR has is much lower price and space it requires ;) VR is alright, if you are just using HOTAS, with no peripherials, even using mouse to press buttons in game is not that good because your perception of where you are clicking in game (distances etc) are not the same as what you will be doing with your hands (to have to keep reaching the mouse) I can see lot of people getting the CV of the rift (probably me included) then when novelty wears off, and we actually have to fight and press buttons in cockpits etc... we'll start to get anoyed with it and then start to see the downsides... right now we can't see it, but I am suspecting this is how it will be few months/years down the road when/if Oculus becomes widespread and catches on in flight sim community.
  4. no... that would be 21-28 days... I am thinking more like 31 days :music_whistling:
  5. I give it another month :) (just my speculation)
  6. Bucky, check your PM
  7. Ah sorry about me mentioning the Bonus, my bad... Bonus doesn't apply for KS pre-order but only for modules purchased in ED online shop... sorry again for confusion
  8. But hey, ED also give the bonus for your purchases, so if you spend $100 on modules you get some bonus also, you can use that to get another module at bit cheaper price, I know its not much but its something at least, so you do get little more out then what you pay. EDIT: please disregard this comment, I completely forgot bonus system only applies for modules purchased though ED online shop
  9. yes, people loose perspective because if you think about it, each plane will have great 3D model, cockpit, 6DoF, PFM and ASM, it's the best you could hope for for a flight sim of that high fidelity, and to make those aircraft is pretty hard and long work, so really $20 per plane is not much at all... well I guess it is for people that don't have much money, but if you look at how much general games cost (I think play station games are $80-90 each and their fidelity is not nothing compared to DCS PFM/ASM modules) $20 is not much... I think
  10. I was referring to this post, Sabre is what 1.2.9 is for mostly (1.2.9 = 1.2.8 + Sabre)
  11. No, it won't be.
  12. I think he meant junkies :)
  13. 3Sqn RAAF Hornets pKNjiu4j9TM
  14. and when it does it'll come like a thunder :joystick:
  15. Good point... I can add that it applies to ED learning the ropes of modeling/coding and getting info on more modern stuff also, which is harder to come by then prop aircraft :)
  16. nice :D I take 3rd option... MiG-21 I must have, MiG-23 I must have, MiG-27 I must have, F-5 I must have.... the list goes on... and all of them are old airframes
  17. I would like to ask (you don't have to answer, just think about it a little) anyone that asks why is ED releasing WWII planes, choppers etc. If you were a developer like ED, and you were already working on modern aircraft like F/A-18, but were unable to complete such module for few years to come, but you have already cracked the ways to create PFM and ASM for simpler (avionics/weapons wise) aircraft that are also much easier to get right info for, would you: a) continue to work on that modern aircraft only which would mean no income generated for a long time or b) let 3rd part modules (and ED can help also with man-power they have free not working on/parts of the modern aircraft) create the aircraft they have info for, and are able to produce high fidelity modules in fairly short time... and actually generate income while in process of developing the so-wanted modern fighter? yes... now after you thought about, I am pretty sure you said to yourself... I'd pick b) thank you very much ;)
  18. Thank you for the update... any module that is well done (PFM+ASM) deserves to be purchased :)
  19. HAHAHA! Classic!
  20. Well the video wasn't really funny.... not for me anyway.... well, maybe the funny bit was how the rich dude was told off and then wanted to take his pen :D Yup, that was funny! :)
  21. In most countries it's the billionaires that run the show and influence the politicians. I like Putin.
  22. yeah, the $516 is what's on ED website history list, and without indiegogo and kickstarted fundraiser, so real amount I've spent on modules for DCS is over $700 (but as fundraser don't go to ED can't count them) :)
  23. Damn You! Your comment made me laugh like crazy.... and I am at work right now :megalol: Aaaaaaaaaaaaa.... "Kebabistan"
  24. Yes, ED does listen, good on them for making this adjustment :)
