  1. No worries, the more people use your software, the more emails/posts you will have for support ;) I'm sure you have plenty on your plate and I hate to be the one with posts about me having issues. So it's all good.
  2. Looks like I found the reason and fixed it... I suspected export.lua or some other files do not update in Testers and Trunk version, so I made a release DCS install, checked the files from release version and compared them to Testers and Trunk and they were different... copy/paste the files from public to testers version and checked... so far everything seems to work, in VR also. So in a way you could say this was my fault as I should have known something like this could be the culprit as I remember from earlier cases that SimShaker updated DCS public version by default, and any other version needs to be updated manually (by copy/paste) the new files.   3. I don't have DCS 1.5.4.57013 installed but checking in DCS 1.5.4.57040 and MiG-21 works fine for me. No CTD. EDIT: spoke too soon, tried different mission starting on runway and I got CTD. Previous one was start in air where I got no CTD.

I think I may have found some bug with 1.1.1.48 version, and this one is very weird For some strange reason whenever I run DCS using Oculus Rift CV1, when I start in mission on ground, I do not get ground bumps effects. I am able to replicate every time... starting DCS (trunk testers version and testers beta version - Andrey would know which is which) without VR and effect works, starting with VR and it doesn't. I have noticed also that when I start in VR, and roll on runway, there is no ground bumps effect, but when I take off and raise landing gear, then ground bumps effects IS PLAYED! If you can figure this one out Andrey you're a champ... but as you don't have VR I don't know if you can replicate :( EDIT: now I find A-10A and A-10C gun effect doesn't work also (VR or no VR) I can see in log that Gun Fire A-10A effect is there, but nothing in Visualisation Bar and nothing in ButtKicker. When I test the sound file, it plays fine. I also don't have Afterburner and Speedbrake effect working.

  7. Sorry what? You want mirror graphics to be like graphics 20 years ago? No thanks. If they ruin your FPS so much simply turn them off or use low quality mirror setting. And by the way your suggestion would 100% not be more realistic. Thanks very much but I see every detail I see in real life when I look into my mirrors in the car or bathroom. :music_whistling:
  8. The gamer 2 version is I think too weak, you'd be better off with the simulation kit version, and yes, you can just screw the shaker to the seat.

  10. I went through 2 windows 10 updates and I haven't had this issue with MiG-21bis activation. If its of any help I have actually bought windows 10 and installed it from USB, maybe the free version update has some settings that interfere with this licence (I disabled all options for monitoring during installation, which you don't get with free upgrade and then disabled everything in privacy settings once OS was installed).

  12. I tried setting priority for sound module to Real Time and it made no difference. red text flashing was still there and pause between sounds are same also. Thanks for the explanation about stall effect, I thought something is messed up with this effect... good to know how it works. I wonder now what happens if I fly twin engine with 1 engine only, will the pauses be there also... :) I need to eat something first now, then playing bit more with this. EDIT: yup, I was right, with F-15C when I shut down one engine and kick into afterburner I get the same time gap every time when sound file is being repeated

I have little more info for you: When I fly twin engine aircraft (F-15C) and I am in afterburner, the sound effect is pretty continuous, I can't feel any pauses between sounds being player repeatedly. With single engine aircraft (MiG-21bis) I get these pauses. Could it be that because twin engines produce 2 sounds played simultaniously that they overlap each other, while with 1 enigne there is only 1 sound, so there are pauses between each sound in played? One more thing I just noticed also. I have stall effect set at 50% but when in game the log shows this effect being played at 65% volume. When I set it to 40%, its played at 52% volume. Is there a bug with sound volume for Stall Shudder (Long sample) File+p1_9_0_2.wav?
  14. On my end I don't. I modified the afterburner sound to be longer duration (something like 10sec) and I can clearly hear/feel when one stops and another starts again. Is there some setting I can change to reduce this.. or check something on my end if its working correctly or not?
  15. red text flashing is still there, but I don't care about that as long as it works. :thumbup: I have a question though, some files which are short in duration, for example, the Engine Afterburner, when the effect is playing (when I have afterburner on), the effect is not continuous, as in... every time the sound is played, there is shot delay till its played again. For example... my afterburner effect is like this: shake......shake......shake......shake.......etc but I think it should be like this: shakeshakeshakeshake... I hope you understand what I mean.The effect is played like there are pauses in between every sound play instance. Is this how its working on your end also and how its coded, or do I have some other issue with this also?
  16. Andrey I have sorted out my issue. It has to do something with front panel setting option in Realtek sound driver which is somewhat hidden, and its the damnest thing how this made SimShaker effects messed up :noexpression: First thing I did this morning was to uninstall and reinstall my main 5.1 speakers driver and then on-board sound driver which I use for ButtKicker. After reinstalling them I still had same issue, some effects would just not play. Then looking into every option I could find I finally stumble upon this option in screenshot and remember long while back when I had issues I had to change this option to AC97 Front Panel (even though I don't use front panel connector, and this is by default set to HD Audio front panel), so I did and voala, ButtKicker played all sounds properly this time. But now my main speakers did not have any sound in them :doh: I tried changing this option back to HD Audio Front Panel but still no sound in main speakers. What the hell? :huh: Then I went to try playing with sound driver settings for that sound card and changing sound mode from Game to Entertainment Mode, re-selecting 5.1 speaker setting and I finally got the sound in main speakers back. So basically the ButtKicker sound driver has now exactly the same option as before when I had SimShaker sounds have issues, but now it works fine and before it didn't... man these PC are bloody weird... but at least I got it working now. So it was not your SimShaker or Sound Module bug, it was some conflict between 3 sound cards I have in my system. Thank you for your help, you are always very approachable and helpful, you deserve some sort of award :D
  17. Alright, but I think this red text flashing is happening even when I don't have afterburners on, meaning only 1 effect is played. in that case volume should not be reduced. PS: did I mention this red text flashing is happening even when I play/test the sound effects, not in game at all... it should not be doing this then, right?
  18. Thanks for that, I added the line for MiG-21bis, now I have ground bumps and other effects showing in activity log. Low volume of effects still is same though. I should mention one thing. While I was just trying MIG-21bis, I put afterburner gain to 100% (all filters are off on the buttkicker amp and volume is around 1/3, for 1000W amp this is plenty so buttkicker is definitely not an issue) I still get very low shake effect for afterburners, hardly any. The thing is, while afterburner effect is showing in activity log, the text in Misc Settings of the Sound Module (text reading: "While continuous shudders, other effects volume is ..." etc) is flashing, text is changing color from black to red on and off. What could be causing this? I mean could this be due to some bug?
  19. Hi Andrey, I had a bit of time to check this out, I found the reason why lot of sound effects were not even showing in Activity Log window (Log to screen). Looks like SimShaker is not creating the extra line "creators[705] = {"avLuaDevice", lfs.writedir() .. "Scripts\\SimShaker-export-core\\ExportDevice.lua"}" in declare_kneeboard_device.lua I copied the line from one of the files you gave me before, and now I get I think all effects showing in activity log. EDIT: did the MiG-21bis need this line added somewhere also? But, problem is still not fully solved yet because for some sounds even though I can see effects in activity log, I can't feel anything in the Buttkicker. Either sound is way too low, which I doubt because even at 100% gain it should be enough to feel something. The test sound for example at 50% is quite shaky with same volume, but some files have no shake at all when played p1_7_0_2 (gear extend/retract) at 100% gain is hardly making any shake (I can sort of hear a tiny little bit of sound with this one) same with Jet afterburner p2_2_14_1 same with runway/taxiway bumps and rolling.. very very low same with speedbrake p1_3_0_1 Stall p1_9_0_1 also very low stall shudders long sample p1_9_0_2 again nothing in buttkicker I guess I need to edit these files myself, but I wonder has there been some coding change for these?

This is in 1.5.4 (can't test trunk ATM) SimShaker version is 1.1.1.42 MiG-21Bis Ground ruble not working Airbrake not working Afterburner not working Landing gear not working High AoA not working firing guns and releasing weapons are working, but guns effect is very weak even though I have it set to 70% strength Su-27 Ground rumble not working Afterburner not working Landing gear not working Ejecting is working Flaps raise/lower is working High AoA (Stall) Shudder shows in Log as working but I feel nothing even at 100% Airbrake shows in Log as working but I feel nothing even at 100% Gun is working but bit weak Chaff/Flare is working Looks like 2nd last update messed up lots of things Could it be that Misc Settings - While continuous Shudders and Other Effects Volume (which I had set to 30%) is somehow making sound files that show in log playing but I can't feel, not play in BK because sounds are played at 30% of their volume? I thought this setting was to adjust effect volume of other effects when stall effect is active?
