DCS Carrier Wars Round 1 Battle on the Black Sea 15th of December 1900z: Official battle DCS Theatre: Caucasus Battle duration: 1.5 hours - One life per pilot Open slots: 50 - first come first served Hosting server: 104th Dedicated Server TeamSpeak Address: ts50.gameservers.com:9132 TeamSpeak password: phoenix We kick off a new PvP event with the Battle on the Black Sea, featuring Russia's SU33 taking on the F/A-18C newcomer! DCS Carrier Wars is a Air Superiority and Interdiction event that has surface objectives for both sides to eliminate to score points as well as scoring for Air to Air kills. Round 1 will feature 20 SU33 vs 20 F/A-18C plus 5 GCI Controllers for each side. Round 1 Objectives Both sides are tasked with establishing Air Superiority on their side of Bullseye, to protect friendly shipping tankers from enemy assault. Coalitions will score points for every enemy aircraft and ship destroyed during the 2 hour event run time. All surface contacts are unarmed tankers and will require coordinated protection for the 2 hour duration. Each Coalition will have AWACS and Aerial Tankers airborne to help them achieve victory, Fighter Control services will be provided using SRS and LotATC. SRS Fighter control channels will be separate from the AI AWACS channel. NATO Bullseye Russia Bullseye Rules 1 Life per Pilot. You cannot land ... on land, carrier recovery only. Surface groups cannot be attacked until 30 minutes after the event start call. All Clients must be on the 104th Teamspeak server. All Clients must have SRS installed. Client pings must be below 300. We reserve the right to remove you for high ping / packet loss! No unauthorised weapons. AWACS & Tanker Aircraft are not available for targeting. Carrier Battle Groups are not available for targeting. GCI must use LotATC and SRS. If you turn up late to the Event Briefing you will automatically be placed on the Reserve List. You must have fun! Anyone found to be not having fun will be removed from the event . Weapon Restrictions Air to Air No AIM120C or AIM9X. AIM120B is allowed. Air to Ground Mk82, Mk83, Mk84, Fab250, Fab500 Only (Until the Hornet gets more toys we are staying without Anti Ship weapons for now. As the Hornet develops we will add more weapons in to the event) GCI 5 GCI Slots are available for each side! GCI Operators CANNOT fly and must stay on the scopes for the entire mission. AWACS will be available for both sides, LotATC will be the tool for GCI. Carrier Deck Operations Spawning on the Carrier will be strictly controlled to avoid accidents, There will be a Carrier Tower controller on station using SRS during the event for both sides to check in with before any Carrier activity takes place. Both Carriers will be moving at 18kts, there will be no wind in the mission. Rearming and refuelling is only permitted either in the air (AAR) or on the Carrier, landing anywhere but the carrier will result in a loss. Sign Up To Sign Up for the event you must have an account on ED forums, sign ups will be handled on a first come first served basis! There will also be a Reserve List to replace pilots who do not show up. You cannot sign up on your friends behalf, clients can only sign up themselves. There is a limit of 4 pilots from any 1 Squadron per side, however you can add more pilots to the reserve list and if any clients do not show up we will allow extra squadron members to fly. You can have 4 pilots on the Blue side and 4 pilots on the Red side from any 1 Squadron, eg.. 4 104th on Blue and 4 104th on Red. Remember... you cannot sign up other members on their behalf, you can only sign up yourself not your friends or Squadron members. Operation Backfire will be added back in to rotation tonight. The East vs West set up will feature the M2000C moved to Red flying for Egypt to help with the PvP balance.

Operation Longbow and Southern Shield are out of rotation due to the number of clients abusing the repair and refuel exploit. Once ED fix this and patch it we will run the missions again.

Our latest Persian Gulf mission Operation Sand Shield is now live on the 104th server for testing. Sand Shield is an 'airquake' style large scale MP mission with mixed aircraft on both sides. Red side start from Shiraz International and the Persian Gulf and Blue start on the Iranian Southern Coastline. CTLD is not fully functional for helicopters just yet, troops transport etc will have to wait till the weekend kicks in. Keep it up and I'll take them away ;)

Server updated to 2.5.3.23788 We'll stick to our older missions for a few days then upgrade the PG ones. Operation Armageddon and Operation Leopard will take priority today and tomorrow.

Operation Armageddon added back in to rotation! If the Hornet IFF causes too many problems we will remove the Hornet from Red until ED fixes the IFF system. You have asked me this more than 3 times and every time I have told you yes, it will happen....

Sadly the track was corrupted and the tacview file didnt generate properly, Im trying to replay it from a different track to see if that works.

Red Flag Rumble R2 will feature two teams of 30 going head to head in the Caucasus Terrain, each pilot only has one life so every kill counts! Mission Overview Blue side -F5- Sukhumi Red side -Mig21- Sochi An exclusively AIR TO AIR head on match up between some exciting aircraft in DCS World, this Rumble round features an old school match up. There are NO Air to Ground objectives so each team is looking to take advantage of their assets in Air to Air combat to eliminate the opposition. The winning side is the team with the most aircraft alive after two hours or who ever eliminates the enemy first. Rules 1 Life per Pilot. All Clients must be on the 104th Teamspeak server.
