Same problem, I have emailed (five times) Nicholas and not received a reply. I know they are buy and I don' have time to fly any DCS module at this time, so not a big deal. :thumbup:

No Replies to Emails Mr. Dackard, I have sent five emails to your email address and I have not received a reply. Mig-21 continues to say there is new hardware, and except for adding a USB Western Digital Hard Drive, four months ago, no changes have taken place with this computer for 18 months, before I bought MIG-21. I guess I did replace a mouse and added a second monitor, but that should not be enough to trigger that there is new hardware. No other module has this issue but the MIG021. Please let me know by email what can be done to help so I can fly the MIG-21 again. You have my email address already. Thanks and looking forward to the F-14 and other products. Happy New Years everybody!!! It is 1630 here in Iowa, USA so looking forward to any update from LNS. If not tonight, I am sure we will get it when it's ready. I am looking forward to the modules and maps from LNS in the coming year(s).

Nobody was asking to "dumb" down the graphics, the original comment was about standalone installers. I see value in using the updater and abandoning the standalone installer, which should speed up the process to push new content. I look forward to all the upcoming modules and maps, in their full DX11 glory. Happy New Years!!!

I understand the concern. I live in rural Iowa, U.S.A. and only have .25 to .5 mb download speed on a very s-l-o-w dsl over old copper phone lines. At school where I work, I can use our 100 mb download speed to get my modules and major updates, transfer to a usb drive and take them home. When I travel, I take a laptop not for pleasure but to download updates for everything, so I can take them home and install later. For me, I leave a computer on all the time anyway, just because of the slow internet speed, so I do mind, but understand, the seven days it took to download the 2.0 alpha. Yes, it took seven days, 24 hours a day. I am not making any judgements on other comments, however not everyone has "true" high speed internet. We have an area of the school district that in the past year, had only gotten access to cellular phones, when Verizon finally installed a tower, before that there was a dead spot for people traveling through the region, not to mention the hundreds of people that lived there and couldn't access what so many take for granted, a cell phone. Am I upset of the new policy, no as I understand that it streamlines the process, but it could limit others from jumping onboard. So the installers, and ISOs are beneficial for some of us. Just something to consider.

OK, a few hours of sleep is good. ....... can Steam version on one machine, and stand alone on a totally separate machine use the same ED account, or should I create a different account for the steam keys? For some reason, I am not allowed to add this to the Steam discussion for the 1.5 forum, so I am asking for feedback here. I apologize up front, if this is not the right place. I have all the modules, both as stand alone and also in steam. Some I have several of the same modules beyond that so I try to support ED and the 3rd Party Developers. Here is my question......In 1.5.x do I need a different account for my steam modules, that is separate from the stand alone module account, or does it really matter? Are the serial numbers available yet, for those of us that bought A-10C in beta, before the date? All I see is the serial for what I bought so I could get the Red Flag campaigns.

Size of Download Does anybody know the size of the download for 1.5? I only ask because I have very s--l--0--w DSL Internet. Sometimes it takes 3-4 days to get previous updates to download. Thanks

I bought all three on a previous Steam sale, and I can assure you that Sub Command, 688(I) Hunter Killer and Dangerous Waters can be played on Windows 8/8.1. Look at the Steam Forums for the simulations, and previous users will tell you how they got them to work, and they do work.

Tried to use the keyboard, bind it to a joystick button and doesn't retract. Other than that, love the sim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shut Off FFB And Buzzing and Vibration Went Away This won't ruin my MSFT FFB2 Joystick??? Had it forever and don't want to end its life any earlier than needed. I did shut off FFB and it went away.

Bought It!! Ordered today and look forward to the 18th!!! Maybe we can get the manual a little early!!! Any chance of it being released early??? Just wishing!!! :thumbup:
