  1. @ Kyrill: I haven't tried the 'western runways' mod but my guess is it uses the same files (onlay_vpp.sup and razdolnoe.rn). Please run Modman to see which files are used. So yes, you probably should uninstall that mod first. This also means that after installing Merzifon version1.1, only Merzifon will have western style runways. @ Stealth_HR: I don't know of any navy mod and I don't know which files are modded. Please run Modman to see which files are used. If the scenery in the Navy mod ONLY adds the Merzifon airbase and all other addons have nothing to do with the scenery, you can have both Mods installed and will find extra trees and objects around Merzifon. Do check to be sure. from the readme in the ZIP package: Basically this means that all mods that use 'runway' and/or 'scenery' files will be affected. The user will be notified of this within the Modman GUI when the Mod has been selected. If all goes well it will be online this weekend :pilotfly: Shots of fixed statics in the scenery

  3. Merzifon AFB, Bird(y) view with top of image being west. Some 20km north-west of Merzifon (still visible in background) lies a forest with industrial site. 'On final' view (heading north). Western-style runway visible and city is coming in to view on the left
  4. I'don't know what you mean; I just landed my A10 on Merzifon with ILS without any problem!

There's also a brick-version HIMZAVOD(KONTUR).CMD. @ POKO24: no can do @ Jaskozoki: There's a mission file in the Zipped mod file with statics placed at new objects. Use key F12 to cycle through them. @ SuperKungFu: Was that shot taken with vs1.1? If so, please give me the coordinates !! PS: All future scenery versions will be combined with the Merzifon mod.   7. Well, we've come a long way since 2005 Swingkid. Al thanks to yourself and Alfa. Yes you've guessed right; I continued this mod where SwingKid and Alfa left of. Merzifon mod vs1.1 as it will be called, will be available for download soon. In a nut shell: - Moves Raznadolye airbase to Turkey (representing Merzifon AFB) - Runways and taxiways use Evil-JOE and Vinc's "Western Runway" textures - Adds trees and other objects to the Merzifon area - includes all objects in Birdy's scenery mod vs1.1 - Modman5 compatible Here some previews (beta stage):
  8. I've tested this and so has Pat01 and it seems that lockon versions 1.1 and up only show the statics from the first mission. Also, when checking the map after opening the second mission, the statics of the first one seem to be part of the scenery ! If you have found away around this please prove me wrong and explain.
  9. first try compiling only two missions. Then add one more and so on until you get the error again. It must be in one of the missions. If you have al lot of statics in each mission I would suggest you release it as a mission pack since LockOn only shows the statics in the first mission (!)

  12. Single digit? You mean like 9 FPS now and 11 FPS before the mod was installed? Seems normal given the amount of added objects in the mod in relation to the default scenery. If you have a FPS loss with scenery version 1.1 compared to scenery version 1, something else is wrong. There should not be any FPS difference between the two versions.

  15. Poko, contact SwingKid if you're interested in modifying scenery files. Its very time consuming work though so know what you're getting in to. There are no concrete-floor objects or simular flat surfaces so the army base has to be placed on the green grass. Looking forward to your movies. Will be great I'm sure.
  16. Not at this point. The mod is nothing more then overwriting a file with the one in the zip file. If you backup the *.SCN files nothing can go wrong. If you're still not comfortable copying/pasting manually ask someone like TekaTeka to make it ModMan compatible.

FLY! === What's new? === This version 1.1 fixes the 'floating tree' bug; Due to an error in the compilation utility, a lot of trees were rotated and not positioned on the ground correctly. Other than that a large army base has been added on the edge of the LockOn theatre (north-east Georgia). Please see the included mission file for details.   19. BRD is correct; The radars are animated-graphics that exsist in the scenery file. Other animated graphic files are the tower-crane and smoking chimneys (all exsist in the scenery file). The Zapros and PRW-11 radar on Krasnodar and Gudauta airfield have been moved in my scenery file otherwise they would be placed in a forest (and that would make no sense LOL) As far as I know, the civilian traffic intensity can not be altered.
  20. those are 'random' mobiles and you get them by setting "civil traffic" to "yes" in the option menu.
