  1. Correct, it's the *.mis file only. I will upload the zip file this evening. Sorry.
  2. taken from training mission A-10 training; NAV and CCIP with FAC-assitance
  3. Yes, time for another training. This time time-on-steerpoint and landing under poor visual conditions is on the menu. I highly recommend my scenery mod since this will greatly enhance the atmosphere. http://home.planet.nl/~monfro/666th/lomac-missions/a-10a_nav-ils.zip The zip file contains mission, briefing, screenshots and declassification key.
  4. I've put a training mission on line. I recommend you play-back the basic LockOn training videos first. http://home.planet.nl/~monfro/666th/lomac-missions/a10_fac-testrange.zip Zip file contains mission, briefing, screenshots and declassification key. Briefing:
  5. I started out building a campaign but when I found out that static objects are only supported in the first mission, I ddecided to make a mission pack instead. http://home.planet.nl/~monfro/666th/lomac-missions/A-10A_gagra-offensive.zip You will fly the A-10 in 13 missions with Gudauta as your temporary homebase.

  7. Yeah I know (see my post here http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=13672) At least some are still resident in the 'bazar' folder. If you use my scenery mod you will find the yellow tow-tractor, Tu243-Reis missile launcher and an army tent (radio station). I guess If you want to use them, you should rename them to vehicules that are used in the editor.
  8. The problem with the current theatre is that it is nowhere flat (except the airfield-areas). The tree objects have a load of parameters that make up the direction and tilt characteristic but I don´t know how they are used. For flat areas these parameters aren´t used so it was possible for me to use them around airfields only. As I understand it from other users, the extra trees only chew up 1 or 2 FPS so very acceptable PS: have you been here 43°31'00"N - 43°36'48"E ?
  9. Hi Snacko, In your quote, Hawg11 referes to a different Mod. My scenery mod does just as the description at lockonfiles says. Yes, simply overwrite the old high.scn file
  10. Wasn't that modeled in EF2000/Tactcom? ...Aaahh, sweet memories.......
  11. The idea is oke I guess, but it is very annoying the way it's implemented. I mean landed aircraft won't show on the tarmac in the next mission now will they. Thats why i use the statics; to have the feeling there's some coherence between the missions. So are you saying this is normal and no one posted it as a bug before?
  12. It's an A-10 campaign but ALT-J is enabled. First the static-objects not showing bugn has to be solved (grrrrr)
  13. Hi, I've noticed a problem with static objects placed in campaign missions; Statics in mission #1 are displayed correctly. Key F12 works oké. Statics in mission #2 are NOT displayed. Key F12 still works but the static object seems to be transparant. Even stranger, the statics of mission #1 are still visible !! (and they weren't put in mission #2) Returning to the campaing GUI after closing mission #2, the statics of mission #1 are displayed on the map as if they were programmed in the scenery file. Statics in mission #3 are NOT displayed. Key F12 still works but the static object seems to be transparant. The statics of mission #1 are still visible. The statics of mission #2 are not present. Bug has been seen in versions 1.11 and 1.12a. Any feed back is appreciated
  14. Yes, If I recall correctly it's the Bomber.lom file found in bazar\world\shapes. As far as I know it's not used. Looks like It never made it off the design-table.
  15. The problem is caused by the scenery-extracting utility. I have located the tree-formation in question and I will corrected it manually in the next patch. Good find Lixma06! Please post scenery bugs using my Modded version in the "birdy's new scnerery file" thread. tnx
  16. @warthogmadman987: The easiest way is to rename one or two tree objects to objects that are present in the mission editor. The WC-object is hardly used and could be used to place a tree on the map instead. You should go to the bazar\terrain\structures\high folder and copy for instance file tree_7.cmd. Then rename this copy to wc.cmd (make backup of wc.cmd first) The hard way is to change the scenery file using a util made by Swingkid (sent him a PM). It's a bit more difficult and more time consuming. Compiling a new high-scenery file takes approx 13 hours !. Another way is to add objects to the mission editor by editing files meinit.xml and structtable.sht. Check an article I wrote on that elsewhere in the Mod section. @Hawg11; I see, sorry for the misunderstanding. I you remove objects from the structtable.sht file they won't show in the scenery and therefor increase framrate. Note that I've added a few hundred non-tree objects in my new scnenery as well. They won't show either. @ Dusty Rhodes and Cosmonaut: correct. Files go into bazar\terrain\scenes @lima6 I made a new scenery file with extra trees both for the High AND Medium setting. Both can be downloaded at lockonfiles.com
  17. Well, if that fix does what Hawg11 says, it just might. I take it that the fix changes the original high-scenery file. If so, it should also be able to change my scenery file with the added trees. That way you have all the extra trees and lack some buildings (like Hawg11 said) to increase FPS. (Do correct me if I'm wrong here)
  18. I don't know what this Fix does so I can't answer that.
  19. I read somewhere that these new trees will only be made visible if player comes close to the trees. That means that the original trees will still be used. Therefor can only assume that the scenery file is not changed as far as trees are concerned. I guess the whole structure of the scenery file will remain the same and it should still be possible to edit it. We have to wait and see.
  20. The scenery files only contain objects such as bridges, houses, trees and vehicules. Runways, roads and map-images are generated from other files and can not be edited with the utility i used. Contact SwingKid if you're interested in editing scenery files.
  21. It's an old trick; Find "F-16C" in file MEINIT.XML and change "HumanCockpit=No" to "HumanCockpit=Yes". Note that the cockpit (and FM) is that of a Su-33.
