  1. Thx for this!
  2. I understand that, however those settings don't allow you to squeeze the maximum amount of performance out of your jet. Peace
  3. IvanK you need to set saturation at 100%, at 80% you are effectively not pulling that extra 20%. Try it with those settings. Furthermore your video exactly shows what i expected from 80% saturation on pitch and it is not evident because of this factor :-) Peace
  4. I understand and appreciate your point of view IvanK however what i am seeing flight model wise and visually in the cockpit are 2 different things. Snapping from 20 - 23+ AOA to 1 AOA within a matter of a second when letting go of the stick. Btw did you watch the AOA in a normal turn and then try it with ACS failure on? Peace
  5. Well we can always Hope ;-) At the moment the F-15C flies very well and matches the charts and I'm just hoping this small issue can be resolved so that the FM becomes even more enjoyable to fly with.
  6. My tests have all been with the F-15C, I have not tested anything for the Mig29 or the Flankers, so I cannot comment about their performance in game. I understand how an aircraft oscillates in various regimes of flight, however what's happening with the F-15C in FC2 is quite different. It would be easier if everyone just tried these tests to see for them selves in the game instead of quoting lines from manuals for various aircraft, that way we would all be on the same page with what is currently implemented in the game and how it can be fixed or tweaked. Peace
  7. Is there any way to fix this so that the aircraft does not do the bouncing routine every time in a turn. The reason why i find this to be a problem is because you can never accurately judge your speed when looking outside your cockpit at all, due to the constant nose bobbing. It is as though it is scripted to bounce exactly the same way in all regimes of flight. Peace
  8. X52 Hotas, and i don't use dead zones, i have tried various curves though. Peace
  9. Ok i just did some testing with ACS failures ON and OFF. So far i gotta say with ACS Failures on, the aircraft feels much more like a real aircraft during turning and burning rather than with the ACS failures off. My testing specifically is in the turn and burn regime of the aircraft. First with No ACS failure: Go in to a turn yank the stick back from about 400-450 kts and at this point let go of the stick completely and watch the nose bounce in to a sort of negative pitch, From 22+ AOA to 1 AOA in a matter of 1 second or so, This doesnt seem correct at all. Second Test with ACS failure on: Aircraft doesn't go from 20+ AOA to 1 AOA during a yank back on the stick during a simple horizontal turn, the rate at which the nose corrects itself is more natural (DURING TURNING). The nose bobbing is not prevalent and the aircraft feels smoother during turning. Now i havent talked about level flight at all because that doesnt seem to be much of a concern for me at the moment as much as thee turn and burn aspect of it. IvanK since you are a real pilot can you please replicate what I have done and give us your thoughts on this, Id appreciate it. Thanks Thats all from me for now, If anyone wants me to explain better in detail, I can take you physically in FC2 and display what im talking about in practical terms. Peace
  10. I watched the video Pilotasso, and Im not seeing the same thing you are seeing.... Lockon F-15 Nose bouncing problem is not there in that video you just posted... Do some dogfighting and you will see what i mean. Peace
  11. Gj dude thanks for your work! Peace
  12. Not like how it is in the current F-15, it's very violent, and inaccurate. The rate at which the nose goes in to a sort of negative pitch is the same in all conditions and currently its not correct by any stretch. Peace
  13. There is a small issue with the nose bobbing on the F-15C that makes for very rough turning. I'm hoping this issue will be resolved or looked at. YoYo i was hoping to get some comments from you on this. I have posted about this by mistake on another post but I did want to mention this over here. Peace
  14. Check the first post dude, right at the bottom of it is a link, just copy and paste it in your browser. Here it is anyways to save you some time data.reservoirselite.com/DCS-Orig Sounds-Fps Saver.rar Peace
  15. Problem is yoda that the texture file is just 1 file that wraps around the afterburner 3d model, so its very limited as far as what you can do with it, Takes alot of trial and error to get the effect as close to the thing you want. Peace
  16. Guys there seems to still be the old Nose bobbing issue with the F-15C. eg. If you let go of the stick during a turn, it immediately unloads pitch and aoa too fast. Im wondering if this small issue can be fixed? The current rate at which the aircraft tries to correct itself is too fast, which makes for an unstable turn. There is far too much jerking. It seems abit too sensitive. I wondering if this can somehow be tweaked by reducing the rate at which the nose of the aircraft goes in to some sort of negative pitch. Yo-Yo i would love to hear your comments on this, Thanks! Peace
  17. You know different afterburners have different colors because of the different fuel types, but this one is doable too, Let me see what i can do Peace
  18. Rikus its the same afterburner texture for all planes... So it works even for Mig29 also. Here is a version i just finished... Now i dont know if this is what you guys wanted... But this is Orange and Bluish. Here's the picture Peace
  19. Currently this mod works for both F-15 and Su27, However seeing that so many people want an orange and blue version also, I'll make one right away and upload it in a few minutes. Stay tuned for a link to it with screenshots. Peace!
  20. Hi all, I just wanted to know does FC2 model Radar cross section of aircrafts and surface or angular deflection too?
  21. Woohoo!, Gj my friend Jaeger and the entire Free Falcon team! Appreciate your hard work as always. I plan to enjoy many countless hours of fun thanks to you fellas! For those who want to see a few screenshots of Freefalcon5 check this out http://www.freefalcon.com/index.php?page=screenshot Peace
  22. Hi all recently I made a blue afterburner texture similar to the one I made in the previous FC version, this one is however for FC2. Screens are at the bottom and I have uploaded it to Lockonfiles.com pending approval. It is however on my ftp for whoever wants to download it. It is modman compatible. To download simply copy paste the following link in your browser: data.reservoirselite.com/Fusion's Blue burner.rar EDIT: Lockonfiles.com link added http://lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=268&lid=1760&title=Blue%20Afterburner%20Mod#dldetails Peace
  23. I have to respectfully disagree with you dude. If you are a good BFM pilot you will be able to operate the JET in a BVR environment with more efficiency, specially vs multiple targets, where energy/maneuvering/altitude all play a very significant role. A pilot untrained in BFM will over pull the jet in various regimes of flight, whereas a pilot who consistently dogfights and understands BFM will be able to maneuver in all regimes of flight with maximum efficiency, reason being a dog fighter pushes the jets to its limits and very quickly figures out its sweet spots and flight regimes that he should avoid. This can be the difference between winning and losing an engagement. This is where a good flight model is paramount to overall game play. Peace
  24. After Testing the Flight model with AS, I will now give FC2 my personal stamp of approval. ED has successfully managed to fix most issues with the Flight model, and now Dogfighting has been fixed. F15 Now has to be flown with the same set of dogfighting skills that you would require in falcon4 and it behaves very naturally like a real F-15 would. So where credit is due I have to give it, Congratulations for finally achieving a good platform ED. "I Like it" After 7yrs you have managed to achieve a FM on this aircraft thats worthy to dogfight with. We have tested few flight regimes of the aircraft and so far I have no complaints. GJ Peace
  25. As expected, you lost the plot.. GJ Peace
