  1. Maybe they just need to zoom in their view. I had no issues with the files.
  2. Project y2kiah We haven't heard from you in a while - hope all is well. We miss the posts of your awesome A10 pit project and designs...
  3. Thanks guys, but since I posted that I've learned how to open these properly in CorelDraw - got it all figured out. Thanks.
  4. Mike a good resource are the books from Mike's Flight Deck: http://www.mikesflightdeck.com/default.html I would start there.
  5. Good Work. What are your next plans for your simpit?
  6. Saskcan I haven't had a chance to implement LEDs in my A10 cockpit yet - been very busy - hoping to get my Caution Panel wired up over the holidays.
  7. Thanks Gadroc. With your Front Panel dxf I now have another holiday project. :-)
  8. Stuff Fighter Pilots don't say
  9. Gadroc Any chance you could share the dxf of the front panel?
  10. Y2kiah I'm holding off on cutting the left console on the CNC because i don't understand the cautions about the throttle section and the cutting adjustments that need to be made. Any chance you could update the dxf? I've got most of next month as vacation time and would love to do more work on the A10 build. Thanks
  11. Thanks Gadroc Those pictures helped. I was actually off on a few of those pieces and had them placed wrong. John
  12. Assembly Required Does anyone have any pictures of the assembly of their y2kiah pit? I have a few small pieces of wood for the right side console and I'm not sure where they attach. Also, what is the preferred assmbly method - screws or gluing (or both)? Thanks, John
  13. Thanks - that is great news.
  14. If not a CAD file update maybe some detailed pics / instructins on this? I'd like to get this side of the cockpit cut out with the CNC next week.
  15. More pictures Here are some more shots of my panels - I updated my CAD files and changed my original design a bit. Posted the CAD files on page 1 of this thread for anyone wanting to try building their own.
  16. y2kiah - have you had a chance to update the left console file to include the detail on the throttle pocket you've cautioned about?
  17. I've posted my latest CAD files for the A10C Electrical panel and Warning panel. They are ready for anyone who would like to make their own. My CAD files are posted on the page 1 of my build thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94136 The electrical panel design offers the option for a toggle guard and has prepositioned holes for backlighting with LEDS. Let me know if you have any questions about buuilding these panels. I also have one remaining Warning panel available for sale.
  18. I have one remaining A10C caution panel for sale. Shipping to USA addresses only please.
  19. Reactorone I'd like to use try your files and create some panels with the laser cutter. The machine's software can read eps files so no problem there - however it doesn't like the black "fill" of the panels. I think yours are designed for printing out on paper - so obviously the panels are black. Is it possible to get these without the black fill - just the lines, circles and text? My version of Corel Draw does not have PowerTrace so I can't modify them using that. Would this be difficult to convert - can anyone assist? Thanks
  20. Was wondering if you have done CDU or UFC panels yet? :-)
  21. The last Caution panel has now been spoken for.
  22. One of the Caution Panel orders has been cancelled so it is now available... Electrical Panel has been spoken for. Thanks
  23. I'm in the process of building the y2kiah pit. Going to CNC the left side panel next, but need some detail on cutting the throttle area correctly. Does anyone have any instruction on screwing or gluing the frame together?
  24. Okay - I believe I have three people on a list for the caution panels. The Electrical panel looks like it is still available. I will be sending PMs to those on the list probably next week - this week has turned out to be very busy at work. So please be patient. Thanks
  25. You can check out my build thread as referenced above for additional pictures and I will post some more when I get a chance. The panel is 5 3/4" (w) x 5 5/8" (h) x 7/16" (d) The back plate is designed for 5mm LED holders, I plan to epoxy LEDs into those holders and wire them up to a phidgets card which will interface, I believe with Helios, into the A10 sim. I haven't got to the electronics part yet. Real life keeps taking up all my free time. :smilewink: This build was done using PitBldr's design and you can find out more info on his thread as well.
