  1. The text is quite shallow on my home printed one as well. I plan on trying to fill them with white paint. There's no reason why deeper text wouldn't come out well, it's just down to how deep the text is cut in the model.
  2. It is possible that it is a problem with your arduino code or the way you have the switches hooked up. I'd suggest trying interactive control reference mode and that will take your physical hardware out of the loop completely:
  3. I think this is a known issue .. it happens to me as well. To take the F18 out of the equation, do you have A10C and have you tried that to see if it is working?
  4. You are a champion, thanks mate.
  5. This would be ideal, that would allow the required number of each knob to be added to the build in the slicer. Thanks again for your help mate, it is truly appreciated.
  6. I've downloaded the trial of fusion 360 and I admit defeat, I cannot work out how to separate the sprue from the rest of the mesh so that I can delete it. If someone was able to edit the knobs object file to remove the sprue including the posts that go up into the shaft hole then that would be awesome :)
  7. Yep :) It was actually to get a flat surface for it to print on. However, disaster struck at the 80% mark with a power outage! Upon closer inspection I found that the bridges were actually sagging slightly so on the next attempt I will lay it on its "back", ie face up and print with supports. Will take even longer but will work better.
  8. I'm printing mine upright. Amazing that the printer can handle the spans without support, but it can. Cura estimated 10 hours, it's been going for 16 ...
  9. Printed the HUD Cover and knobs so far, they look great! Question on the knobs I am assuming the sprue inside is supposed to snap out? Because it doesn't want to budge and I'm thinking I might need to employ a drill? Printing the main part of the UFC now and it looks great so far, only 9 hours to go lol.
  10. Thanks for the suggestion. Updating from Cura 3.2 to 3.5 fixed the problem :)
  11. Cura is refusing to load the model as well because "the model is too small"
  12. Sorry, real life and all that. I've checked and there are no device changes between 2.5.3.22176 and 2.5.3.22652 so there shouldn't be a need to update the dcs-bios library. I went and did a quick test and it was working fine for me with the latest beta, so there must be some sort of issue in your setup.
  13. Thanks mate, will have a look when I get the chance.
  14. Still no official fix for this? Sucks playing on a single screen when I could be playing across all 3 ;)
  15. Ugh. What a mess. Missed all of this whilst busy with real life and work. Anyways ... no real progress on the pit, but I have found the time to update to DCS-Bios library to work with the latest Beta of DCS. Can be found in the thread in F18 Controller Bugs, not sure why the mods moved it there, but that's where it is ...
  16. And sorry guys but I don't have time to answer off topic questions. Happy to help with questions on the F18 DCS-Bios implementation, but no other modules or DCS-BIOS basics, there are specific threads for those things.
  17. After a long hiatus due to personal and work committments I've finally been able to update this to the latest version. Just upload v0.6 which support DCS Beta 2.5.3.22176 Will continue to update as required.
  18. And please stop typing all in caps, it is incredibly rude.
  19. Sorry mate, been extremely busy with work. As pointed out some of the device ids have changed, it is on my to-do list to update and publish a new version as soon as I can. It would be great if ED could stop changing the device Ids though ;)
  20. Yes that's correct, I will be using a key matrix and it stops crosstalk.
  21. That would be awesome, my 3D printer is warmed up and waiting to go :)
  22. Sorry mate been off the air with work for a while, I will see if I can get a chance to look at this later this week.
  23. Yes, all of that is in my F/A-18C module.
  24. Amazing work my friend!
