Not sure if we are talking about the same thing but the landscape shadows to 'flat' eliminated the flickering I was seeing on the trees and tree shadows.

No sweat man thanks anyway. I just stumbled on something interesting that 1.5 was using a lot less resources. It also runs 'worse' on my system compared on 2.1 Schoolboy error I left mirrors on here for 1.5 but thats 10fps Not a problem for me, just interested if others are seeing the same thing.

Hi voodooman If you have some time, can you post just a few minutes of msi afturburner logging while flying v1.5, to compare with what you have already listed here? LOL. The wind speed required to whip the ocean up a little is a bit excessive imho.

Can you take a screeny of your map settings and post maybe bud? Needs to be surface wind as well, not high alt, there are 3 settings from memory. just a quick look no frills.
